Notice how I said the thread was annoying? Granted, I do not see what could be wrong with making a gay protagonist in a gritty fantasy though. Geralt is already quite established, however.

If anyone wants a gay protagonist - sure , just not in this particular fantasy world. Geralt is established to the point where the only thing player's allowed to change is the hairstyle...and only slightly. But that's not a bad thing, Geralt's quite cool in the current shape.Russalka wrote...

All it needs is one. Even with the Enhanced Edition that Kayran QTE is unskippable, uncheatable, and unbeatable for a lot of people with lower spec machines even if the rest of the game runs fine.
That's US only, though. A google search reveals Two Worlds 2 apparently already sold a million units in Europe before coming to the US. At E3 2011 it was stated it sold over 2 million units in total.Costin_Razvan wrote...
Well right now TW2 Xbox version has sold 350.000 units based on Vgchartz whereas Two Worlds II has sold 380.000 units. Give it 2-3 more weeks it and will have more sales then Two Worlds II on Xbox.
Overall sales however based on that site ( which does not include digital sales so keep that in mind ) shows TW2 has sold 730.000 units on PC as well compared to the overall sales on all platform Two Worlds II that end being roughly 800.000.

Lies just lies. I have never done a QTE for the Kayran fight since launch all it took was for me to turn off QTE's.

I think Witcher 2 should be able to do at least as well. But what's impressive about Two Worlds 2 is that they pulled it off with almost zero marketing in comparison.

I appreciate you want people to buy the game, but don't do it by dismissing real problems. Turning off difficult QTE only removes 2 out of 3 required QTE to finish off the Kayran.

Mashing a key isn't a QTE imo if that's what your referring to then I take it back but still Quick time events are something I don't enjoy I can deal with with mashing a button np and I don't have a great PC either.
Maybe it's definitions but even with difficult QTE's off you have to button-mash if he gets stuck in the acid goo, and toward the end of the fight when he jumps up on a tentacle. They're not difficult, just annoying. I hate them, too.Skelter192 wrote...

Angry Joe's interviews with them were cute. MAGIC! I saw that guy's name in the credits and had to say it.M U P P 3 T Z wrote...
I feel like the people at CDPR would be really fun to hang out with, in that they'd be super geeky, have accents, and hang out in an office decked out in medieval gear... also they deliver jokes in the most flat voice ever. Lulz.

i havent actually played The witcher 2, but i player The witcher 1 Enchanced Edition until chapter 2 when i quitted it, i got disgusted by it`s battle system, too steady, just had to span the mouse button and keep it pressed, it was utterly annoying, without mentioning the unappealing character
Then you were doing it wrong because the whole point of TW1's combat is not to click until the right time.kakalxlax wrote...

I didn't like it much, but prefer it to TW2 which really is button spamming.

Okay, I am finally submitting to Witcher 2's allure. Please tell me the combat and the occasional immaturity are not as bad as they seem.
Oh and do I miss much by not playing the first game?
