Or perhaps even Witcher 3 -- since one of their AAA RPGs slotted for 13/14 is a "dark fantasy"? They only denied announcing the TW1 release at this time... perhaps it could even be an expansion of sorts. I'm going to cross my fingers. If they're going to announce their new IP.. I wouldn't think it's too far of a shot for them to announce Witcher projects for the same time frame.

Come on CDP, you give us so many choices that affect the world, why not let us at least have some freedom with our PC, oh well as long as the PC is good and not like Geralt I will be happy, maybe liek Jensen who I adored and had no proble playing(and no, there is no point respondingto me about my hate for Geralt as my hate for Geralt goes beyond the game.)
But maybe that's the bad guy or supporting character... I shall go in my optimistic corner and hope that's the case.

We're discussing this over at the RED site, and it's very likely this is just a rough illustration meant to signify they're going sci-fi, nothing more. Given the care they lavished on character design in TW2, this looks way too cliche to be the actual player character. But then again, they did say a different team would be working on this game. That's my only concern here - how much of the Witcher team, if any, will collaborate on this project?

What makes you think that? BioWare markets their ONLY with males and you can still play as a female in all of them, and we know nothing about this game(it hasn't even been announced yet), so calm down, and be patient.
Even then however, i will be glad if it's a set character(regardless of gender), since gender switching is generally a pointless feature that makes very little difference and it's there just to add a rather shallow extention of the RPing.
CDP could do otherwise, of course, but until i see it, i won't believe it.
