I hadn't played it in a long time, and the one time I did play it I kind of speed ran it. So it was still 'fresh' to me.
I went with Roche's path this time, and it was amazing. I felt emotionally inclined to kill Henslet. However I knew in my mind it was the wrong choice. His death would ensure more deaths from civil war, nobles backstabbing one another, etc. I knew despite how despicable he was sparing him was the lesser evil. I let Roche kill him anyways, because the game emotionally engaged me enough to toss aside logic.
Already planning my next run. I like Roche's path much more than Ioverths, so I'll prob do it again or try out Ioverths for the EE. Ioverths just seems weird to me, should probably be called Saskia's path instead.
Probably going to spare Henslet, Sile and Saskia this time instead of killing them. Hope I can cure Saskia in the next game and she doesn't go renegade with Sile and Philipina being on the ropes and Henslet still being in power. I might help Roche too instead of looking for Triss. But I really like Roche raising Anais away from the political ****storm. But Radovid merging his kingdom through marriage with Anais would create a super power to go along Henslet's super power created after his conquest.
Great game glad I revisited this past week.

Not a thing to joke about!
And i find your lack of faith disturbing. At least wait for some official announcement, if they come up with something good "Woohoo" but if it is going to be a medicore horde survival style then we can unleash the sh!tstorm.

Gamasutra's top 30 CDPR is in there.
CDPR about their decision to have separate branches on Act II:
... and about providing additional content for free:"I also think it was a very bold statement for us in terms of respecting the fan base. A lot of companies would put that in and be like, "Hey, that's perfect for an expansion set. Charge 20 bucks, more revenue!" But that's not our way, we like it like this."
"When we had that publishing deal, we went to the publisher, and said, "So we have this idea where we make all this stuff, all this new content, and you don't pay anything for it, we give it away for free. How about that?" The publisher went all big-eyed and said, "Whoa! Let's charge 10 dollars! 10 Euro!" But we believed that we would sell more units if we put it out for free.
And when we put it out for free, we saw a boost in the sales with the Enhanced Edition because it just created good will, and it refreshes the product. You can always do it from two angles, and sadly I see the industry trending toward over-exploiting the gamer, and I think this will come back to the publishers that are doing that, and eventually, people will stop buying their stuff. That's just not the way things work."

I dont have to wait for what exactly this multiplayer will be. I dont play multiplayer at all so its gonna be just waste of resources that could be spent on singleplayer.

I never said anything else. But resources of any company are not limitless. Multiplayer will take something from them.hangmans tree wrote...

Which is why they're hiring someone new to work on multiplayer specifically. So if any resources are gonna be spent, it's more in money than man-hours of the experienced CDProjekt devs and designersBabli wrote...

I'm sure that they're aware of the potential consequences of such by having observed other developers.
I also think that CDPR isn't big enough of a company to afford messing up one of their games like Bliz and D3 for instance.
However, in the event that they do screw the pooch on this one 'cos of MP, their past record does rather indicate that they'd go back to work out the kinks asap.

Anyone else cheesed off by the OTT volume of cutscenes in this game compared to TW1? Everytime i get started it's another long cutscene, yes they can be skipped, but i still want the story, just not so much of it!
The cutscenes are fewer and far between as the game progresses. For a 30-40 hr game, I personally have no issue with it.
As for multiplayer, this is them feeling out the prospect. I suppose it's inevitable multiplayer will permanently encroach on RPG's, for better or worse. A co-op mode for arena could be fun, but think of the resources involved: revamping AI, adding classes and respective skill tree trees, new maps, hundreds of new combat animations. It would be a monumental endeavor.

Maybe they will come up with something other than 'multiplayer' and 'co-op', bringing us a whole new level of fun. They messed with us creating split storyline, they can screw with us with online features.
