You can actually die. There are numerous CGI end cinematics for that too,Eleinehmm wrote...
Can't play characters I do not like - I remember uninstalling Stalker, because I really wished the main character to die.

"CD Projekt had created an rpg the story and quality of which can only be matched by Mass Effect 2"
says the reviewer..now i dont take this guy seriously because he has no idea what a rpg means.
You have to realize that the reviewer wanted to compare the game to something ... and for that purpose he chooses game that won almost all awards in it's respectable categories and is the epitome of what todays players think is RPG...
ME2 is a awesome game but is NOT a rpg and everyone knows that.

Well hopefully CDProjekt decides to make dlc or expansions this time around. Could add a lot to the game. This is from today READ Gop Interview he is still saying the main storyline takes 40 hours. Let's hope it's true.
I'll be pissed if I can't squeeze at least 40 hrs in a single playthrough.

Play on the easiest setting and skip all side quests while making random choices in under 10 seconds.

Nice review.
"One final aspect of combat that I'd like to point out is the tactical
use of lures and traps. Should you be specifically on the lookout for
the alchemical ingredients dropped by a specific monster, you'll want to
place the appropriate lure into one of Geralt's "pocket" slots. For
example, harpies are attracted to phosphorescent crystals and trolls
will pick up the scent of rotten meat."
That is great!

Wow that is a well thought out game element that could add immersion to games!

Immersion is another thing Witcher 2 has going for it.
A question for the people who read the books. Why don't Witcher's slay dragons? I was reading the gamebanshee article's comments.

Actually earlier screenshots showing a dragon.. no? But honestly.. Skyrim dragon design is much awesome
"The only thing that actually bugs me, believe it or not, it is that
Geralt fighting a dragon goes against the lore - in the books he
explains it is strictly against the witchers' code to fight dragons.." A comment from the gamebanshee review.
Just curious why it's against Witcher code.

what about game length?
Reviewer said it took 20 hours to play through, though he skipped all side quests. He also said it was a shame that he had to run through world he wanted to explore. I also think he played on normal difficulty.
I think it's safe to say my first playthrough will be at least 40 hours since i try not to skip anything.
