Well that doesn't narrow it down too much, there are still half-a-dozen of those in Witcher 2
Well, I didn't say I'd give it away completely.

Well... Natalis is a Temerian hero - general from the battle of Brenna. You could say that he is a real patriot and the only one besides Roche that really gives a damn about Temeria. Giving Anais to him would allow him to preserve the legitimacy of Temerian throne, not to mention that he could protect her and the land from all those who would forcefully try to deny her the throne.
Radovid is a cunning politician and all he seeks is basically, gaining more power and expanding his realm - if you give him Anais you basically allow him to annex Temeria. All that of course if you care about those kingdoms at all ! : ]
I always role-played my Geralt as someone who didn't give a damn about politics. I mean, as far as he concerned - what kings rule and what kingdoms fall, that's just none of his bussiness.

Well just to get the Defibrillators out on a pretty much, completely dead thread, I've just got TW2 and I'm enjoying it so far. By which I mean I'm agonising over decisions I've made already, which is good in my book.

A question for hardcore TW2 veterans about a specific ending.
How does the ending/epilogue play out if Geralt sides with the Blue Stripes, but helps Iorveth escape in Flotsam. Follows Roche to the Kadweni camp, breaks the curse on Henselt, but helps Zoltan fight the Kadweni? Does Geralt end up in Loc Muine with Roche? And following that Geralt helps Temeria secure it's independence by rescuing Annais.
What does the political landscape of the North look like if Geralt follows this path?

Giving the sword to Iorveth or Roche only influences what happens in Flotsam directly after the decision.
Giving the sword to Roche-> Iorveth get's captured-> there is a celebration in Flotsam
Giving the sword to Iorveth-> Some of Flotsam's townguards get killed-> Loredo uses the opportunity to start a pogrom in Flotsam
It has no effect on the ending.
The only thing in Flotsam that changes the political state at the end (aside from the siding with Iorveth/Roche choice of course) is, if you kill Loredo or not.
If you kill him, Flotsam remains Temerian. If you don't kill him (only possible on Iorveths path) he sells Flotsam to Kaedwen.
You can't choose Zoltan's side if you sided with Roche. While you don't fight directly for Kaedwen, you also don't fight for Vergen. You always go to Phillipas quarter (or to Iorveth before it, but you can only talk to him) and then get the choice to either kill or spare Henselt.
Is that a soup ladle? lol
Do not question the ladle. King Henselt is right to fear it.
