Sadly, no combat in this one, which is what I'm looking forward to seeing. All the gameplay footage is old. The one interesting part is seeing a new character, a wind mage, who is pretty damn mean looking. And they show some of Geralt's alternate outfits, which are very unique.

Tried it, but after playing through the game twice in English I just couldn't get used to it.



I did watch the Wiedzmin TV series though. Really liked them, even despite the differences from the books

well we will see what TW2 will show... I will play Polish version ( You know why ) and maybe after 1 playthrough give English one chance.

I played both with English and Polish VO and I actually preferred English VO. It's just that the English one was quite severely cut down compared to the Polish version.

I just got a message on the CD red site that Polish Vo's won't be available in the GoG, Steam, and Uk versions of the game. Please god no.... 

I don't want to listen to Doug C*ckles monotonous voice for 50 hrs. Damariel, is this true? No Polish vo's for the English version?

On The Witcher forum Tomasz Gop (aka PM) mentioned that it is unlikely that Polish edition will contain English VO. Not sure what it means for the opposite scenario.

I've played through The Witcher twice - first time (reluctantly) supporting the Scoia'Tael, second time staying neutral.

Unfortunately I can't seem to play it the same way I play other games. I need to get away from it at least a month or so until I almost forget I have it so it feels somewhat like new again.

But I have to say it's damn well written. Choices actually seem to matter more than in any other game I've played. And combat was interestingly designed.

So I'll be getting The Witcher 2 without a doubt. I actually prefer it over Dragon Age 2, which I will get eventually as well.

It means I will swim to Poland if I have to and smack them upside the head. This is a huge deal for me anyway, to have the Slavic feel of The Witcher 2 intact.

Ah, darn, no Polish? Well here's hoping for our czech version being as a good as the polish.
