To be fair This is the New **** did kind of go well with the Origin trailers and Mass Effect 2 had a great trailer also. 30 Seconds to Mars I don't care about them >.>

But great trailer the name of that one is Hope.

Wouldn't make sense to cut content since you know they aren't gonna sell it to us. First day dlc is free for everyone as long as you register it.

No, but I am worried they won't be able to sustain themselves with free DLC. I mean, we don't like it, but there is a reason why DLC costs money in today's gaming industry. Not everyone is Valve.

Well there was Witcher 1 which sold 1.7 million and they also gave the Enhanced Edition for free. I think they'll be ok.

Pirates will always be pirating. They better hope to woo those legitimate buyers.

CD Projekt will be fine.

The lion's share of their business actually comes from the publishing and distribution side of things. Largest PC games distributor in Europe I believe. Then there's GOG, etc etc.

I remember reading that their distribution and publishing side gets around $50 million annually in profit.

Regardless of whether the Witcher 2 is a massive financial success or not, I doubt it would sink the company.

Bryy has a point. I've long wondered where they get their funding, and they obviously aren't hurting for production values. Actually, I read they made the game for a paltry 8 million. As a point of reference, GTA4 cost around 100 million to make. I don't know how CD red can do it.

As far as dlc goes, remember, that's a loose definition. They may well charge for certain types of dlc. I'm more likely to buy an expansion myself.

Looking at great developers like CDPR... I be confident to purchase the expansion as well just to support them.

In the Hope video.. Geralt in that awesome armor looks more like a real Champion than Hawke to me..
