It's for real, you can read about it on the Risen forums.

I can't bring myself to open it yet, as I feel like I'm violating it. Not that I could get it to run anyway before the release, and I already got the GOG version installed. The other, though unrelated to this thread, is also awesome:

Hopefully once the sun comes out again I can go read it in the garden for a bit with a glass of alcohol...

Hehe! I have to admit I was thinking it wasn't going to turn up at all, left it late to preorder and then HMV cancelled my preorder because they oversold (leaving it till a month before release before telling me), so was incredibly lucky to find that The Hut was still taking preorders, but I was dubious over whether they were gonna pull the same thing too since I hadn't heard of them before and wasn't too sure that they were any good. So yeah, rather relieved to see it arrive!
Oh, and if anyone hasn't managed to get the CE version yet but still wants to then it appears that TheHut are still taking preorders and so you might be able to get one off them still!

I myself will scan them and print them, no way I'm cutting the originals into pieces.

You should make a "Witcher 2 Collector's Edition Unboxing" video and put it on youtube.
Should do, but it's not long now before the game comes out and so by the time I do it may be too late. Will see about doing it, though I don't have a 'face for cameras'.

Good idea, I definitely don't want to cut up, damage or in any way harm any part of my CE!

Anyone going to the official opening night in Warsaw?
I was kinda looking forward to it, CDP team will be present, the stunt men that did the motion capture will give a little show, not to mention all the glorious cross-dressers to make fun of.
Unfortunately I can't make it. It really sucks considering its like 15 min away from my place :S
Oh well.

I'm waiting until the 17th to play my GoG DPE.
New Vegas and Witcher 1 can keep me occupied enough until then. It's only a few days.
I can wait that long....
Right?!?!

I would hope CDPR delay the game so if they aren't able to play the game they would pre-order.

@FlintlockJazz I suggest you check it thoroughly, people have been reporting missing or damaged parts of the CE.
Like this?

(not an actual damaged bust, just for clarity for those who need it)

Aye, as you may see in the video, the plastic inner bit that holds all the contents still is broken on mine, dunno if it was due to the post or my own handling of it, but it looks like whoever put the Geralt bust in slammed it in hard since it's that part which is broken and the bust looks a bit bruised though intact. I almost thought I was missing one of the coins but fortunately I found it had just fallen behind the aforementioned broken plastic through the cracks.

My understanding is that it's the retail copy that got leaked (which indicates to me that it was someone working at the publishers not the devs who leaked it, I of course have my conspiracy theories that it was the publishers trying to justify the DRM) and that it still needs the 50mb download that gets released at launch, until it does they haven't yet been able to get the game to actually play yet.

Don't post such horrifying pictures! If that had happened to me for real I reckon I would have just broke down and cried.

I wish it was mine regardless of your compliment, because I wouldn't listen the soundtrack on YouTube, but from my own soundtrack disc then.
