Better organized skill trees and more skills to choose from - yay!

Longer, less linear side quests - yay!

30 different armor types  - yay!

Monster knowledge now unlocks new gameplay elements - yay!

Advanced crafting system - yay!

Social skills now implemented - yay!

Game is dX9........I would b*tch about this, but given how good the game looks, I can't.

Possibly buying back your saves if you die on insane mode - BAAAAAAAAAAAAAD Idea. Really bad. I can't believe they are even considering it.

Possible customization of Geralt's looks?   Intriguing.

well everything is around Geralt's ponytail ... if I understand interviewer...

about DLC for insane mode... hmm I think it would be cheap and we should be buy it just one time ... anyway strange idea and it isn't yet confirmed.

We shouldn't get the option at all, really. I may not end up using insanity mode anyway, but their reputation will suffer if they follow through with this. CD red isn't the type to resort to cheap cash-grabs.

This has turned into a Witcher 2 discussion, which makes me happy!

I am excited about it, but hesitate to call it a Legend until release. However the fact that it is primarily being designed for the PC rocks my socks. If I am wrong, flog me, but that was what I had understood. I rarely preorder, as it usually turns out to be a huge snafu, but I have with this game. It looks amazing.

well PC is on frist place in CD Project then we have Xbox 360 and next is PS3 ... so yes this game is designed for PC. Then we will have console version ( If rumor say's true )

Heh...nice to have our inside informant here Damarial, keep it up! :wizard:

I thought the team was busy polishing the pc version. Judging from what I've seen, it appears they still have a ways to go.

Anyway, as long as it doesn't take resources away from pc development, I hope the game does come to console. It's good for CD red and good for gamers.

So... what's the deal with the pre-order bonuses? Is there any site that lists 'em all?

There might be at the CD red site, not sure. Pre-order bonuses vary with each vendor, just like any game....<_<

So far, GoG seems to have the best deal, getting a free game and all, plus the art book in digital form. More importantly, it may be uncensored, but don't quote me on that.

well tnx ;)... now team is polishing the pc version but CD Projekt is looking for people who know how to do games
on Xbox 360 and add that they will be working on Witcher 2... And if this people know how do games on PS3 then that will be advantege. :)

edit: Slimgrin Damariel not Damarial :D... but ok it's not big deal :D

Well, a long interview, I'll sum up the important points:

-we can still sleep with hookers. :wizard:

-there will still be fetch quests, but fewer of them. I'm glad for this. Geralt is a monster hunter after all, so fetching parts for mages and getting paid for it actually makes sense in this game.

-If they do dlc, it will be a campaign style content. More like an expansion.

-Level scaling bad. Gop hates level scaling.

-some areas will be locked out in any given playthrough. To see it all, you have to replay.

I'm skeptical of their ability to follow through. From what I've seen, the atmosphere on their forum as well as their developers is to talk trash, at least in part... and I tend to think that people who do this have strong tendency to overpromise.

They certainly want to do a lot with the game. I really hope they succeed, because the industry as a whole needs a ambitious developers to push the envelope and introduce new ideas.

They sure followed through with the Enhanced Edition, in a big way, so I'm not skeptical of their intentions. I'll admit that since they created their own engine, however, they may have to do the same this time around. Let's hope they get lots of time to test and do quality control.

I still don't understand where you get this notion of them being trash talkers or arrogant. The forums over there certainly have a different feel, a little more blunt at times. But the few times Gop has been on, he's been pretty down to earth.

The hype surrounding Witcher 2 is ridiculous and unneeded. There was zero hype for Two Worlds 2 from their fellow Polish at Reality Pump, yet the game sold 1 million copies in Europe alone. I doubt the Witcher 2 will (greatly) outsell this, despite their marketing offensive.

I seriously doubt Two Worlds 2 will have "great" sales outside of Europe. I won't buy it at full price simply because a substantial amount of content can only be accessed through multiplayer.  Maybe I'll pick it up when its $10.
