My CE from Amazon just changed to dispatching soon

Polish CE problems: Sh*t hit the fan real bad, I understand that 10k people can be angry but it is ridiculous how quickly fans will abandon the ship when things start falling to pieces and turn into haters. Shows what an amazing fanbase they are. However CD Projekt should have anticipated and be more prepared for something like this, I hope that by the time it is released worldwide the problems will be gone because if they won't then it will reflect really badly on the devs and the game which can have bad consequences. I also hope they fix the registration so we can use our existing accounts rather than make new one and merge it with existing one later.

Lots of things The DLC activation codes don't work, they can't download the 50mb patch and the CD keys are not recognised though many have now reported that they can play now. Also the busts are said to be very low quality with paint coming off them and being damaged. It is a full on rampage on the polish side of the website though it seems to be much quieter now.

ROFL ... well, if that's the work of angered fans... CDPR is safe! As long as the game is THAT good! =)

Ohh yeah and people are having trouble with registering the game itself thus are not even able to put their DLC codes in

EDIT: Also a few users have complained about combat system being very unresponsive. Also there is a few complaints about optimisation with people getting very low FPS while exceeding the recommended specs.

Ouch, seems like there are again many things for people to complain about. Seems like the second coming of RPGs has a few warts.

Me again. Wanted to share something you might find interesting.

Today a new issue of a weekly magazine came out (it's something like Newsweek - so you have an idea). The cover looks like this http://jawnesny.pl/w...nem_okladka.jpg - front page says - Witcher Geralt - The most desired Pole on earth.

Inside apart few facts about the importance of video games as a part of media there are few things I found interesting.
First of all - earlier some of you mentioned that CDPRed is a part of CDProjekt and because of that they had more possibilites than other independent developers. That is true but as you can read in the article CDProjekt played va banque with The Withcer 2 - if it would not sell good CDProjekt could go down the tubes.

The Witcher 2 is also supposed to give CDP(Red) more benefits. Only 30% of income from the sales of the first Witcher in the US went to CDP. With The Witcher 2 it'll raise to 80%.

They also hired a guy who is one of the best Polish experts on military equipment of the middleages.

Marcin Iwiński - one the guys that opened CDProjekt - said that their policy is to give more for less. He finds milking the client (he also gave the horse armor example) coarse and unethical.

Regarding the DLC/expansions (I noticed some gamers discussing the difference ->). People will have to pay only for things that are really worth it. Smaller chapters will be free.

And now something really cool - Wait for E3. Then CDPRed will announce an important premiere (that's how it's in the article) that will take place in fall. They will also show a short movie made by Tomek Baginski (he got an Academy Award nomination for his short called The Cathedral, made the intro and outro for The Witcher).
They will also say more about their plans at Game Convention.

people should shut down the moment they pplay xd  dlc osef it's free not right bioware 5 euros for 1 sword 5 euro for 1 armor ect ect ............

Just saw a comment about a falling through the floor of the world classic bug . Also people complain about combat being to hard and getting one shotted. This is looking bad. I hope it is just some crazy angered trolls that write those comments.

pelople always complain about game all the year player of wow complain for loot, crash , bug  ect but everytime wow release a big update that crash the server like as cataclysm ( 5 hours ) <<<<<< and this is blizzard and cdpr is a little little smaller than blizzard xd  that's normal for premiere there is problem

What time zone? PST? And why in the hell would they punish people who buy the digital version. We are generating a lot more profit than the non-CE boxed version because there is no manufacturing, shipping cost or retailer margin.

Does whichever website you're getting those times from mention when we can begin downloading our Steam pre-orders?

Nah.. they've learned their lesson. From a GoG post, first patch changelog: (so the patch is ready and players may get it as they activate the game, I guess)

Several audio areas, music, cutscene fixes and added better sounds
Many UI fixes (functional, smoother and more user friendly ex. inventory items selection)
Many fixes to quests, quests markers
Visual fixes to fade outs, blackscreens in scenes, cutscenes
Many community fixes - work, npc’s life
Big opponents fights balance and fixes
Many cutscenes fixes - animations, items, lipsync
Gamepad fixes - playing gamepad is now much better
Camera fixes - collisions with objects, collisions with npc’s, combat camera improvements
Some hair physics fixes
Minor QTE fixes
Several locations fixes - objects collisions, envoirements improvements, lights, effects
Crafting, shops, alchemy improvements
Added new autosaves in important places (ex. before fight with Letho, Arachas, Draug)
Some random crashes fixes
Dice poker improvements - logic bugs fixes

@Naughty - all times are GMT, man! That is the centre of the planet, not the west coast! =P And Steam should inform its customers about what is the activation time for them. For GoG it is 7am GMT on the 17th! (4am my time, 12am PST if I'm not mistaken)

PS - someone is playing the game live.. We can watch how much it "sucks" in real time! lol

Alright. Just viewed a live feed. It actually looks like its running quite smoothly for this guy. Camera rotation and framerate all look good, targeting looks fine too. But he's getting his ass handed to him. Combat seems challenging to say the least if all you're going to do is try and slash to victory.

Looks to be running good and only one bug so far

No matter what, they better have the team at the ready 24/7 for patches. They couldn't have had a lousier debut for this game. I don't blame the Poles for being pissed.

Edit-that Dragon sequence is cheesy. Definitely no QTE's for me. I shall shut up now, but the games looking pretty good in the cutscenes as well.
