Now that is awesome to hear. I can't wait to see how much stuff ends up transferring over if you import a save, but to know we get to keep that sword and the Raven's armor at least is just amazing.

Don't know if it's the same but this was posted in the official forums, which are no available atm, but you can still find the beginning of the text on Google:

"The Legendary Raven's Armor, Aerondight and the Dwarven Runic Steel Sword will be transfered from TW1!"

I wish my Harvall steel sword would transfer too!

Sadly I lost my TW1 savegames in a hard drive failure. Alas.  Accepting donations, though.  I think I had the Order of the Flaming Rose ending.

Gonna be streaming my playthrough (complete with 'shorts voiceover commentary!) in livestream.com/fatapollospantry over the coming days/weeks.

Not sure how much LA Noire will pull me away though, probly whenever no ones around to watch/listen along.

For those who are interested what 'über-sampling' actually is:

It is quadruple ordered grid super-sampling anti aliasing (2x2 OGSSAA). Jaggies are practically non-existant, and SSAA typical negativ LOD leads to sharper textures. It crushes your fps to between half and a third.

Neutral ending is where it's at! Or I would help heh. To be honest I think my favourite aspect of TW1 was how they handled neutrality, on the whole it was brilliant and rewarding.

While I would love to use this as a jumping on point to watching your legendary streams I probably won't be able to play my copy for a while and thus will have to avoid spoilers.

The new trailers made me all 'I R EXCITE' and everything too. <_<

Sweet those are the exact three bits of equipment I ended up with. Almost went with the Moonblade but ended up sticking with Aerondight, seemed wrong not to after the build up in Chap IV. Dwarven Mahakaman sword looks awesome too. :3

There is an extensive day 1 patch that will be available to download through the game's launcher.  I don't have the patch notes handy but it seemed to fix a lot of stuff.

I'd take any savegame really, I'd just prefer an Order one. PM would be the best way in any case.

Having just watched a dev demo of this game. Wow.

The ending seems to be a sticking point with some reviewers. One has to wonder how different they truly are and if some endings are better than others. Poor targeting in group combat is another thing that is mentioned, and I was worried about this myself. Just about everything else from dialog, c&c, atmosphere, story, side quests, alchemy, environments; all get praise in the reviews I've read.

One German review says they spent 50 hrs on the game. Thats good news.

I'm gonna just express myself here. CE people are playing, PIRATES are playing and I'm not. As a legitimate customer, I'm pissed. I'll try to relax and play something else as I've finished my preparation for a test. Caffeine must be getting me. I'll be having my test tomorrow while thinking about playing TW2. Shouldn't be good.<_<

There are no reason whatsoever for you to be pissed. CE owners are playing (Polish at least) because they paid a ****load more money than us and they're from the same country as the devs.

Other CE owners around the planet will have to wait until unlock time on the clock (which has already past right?)

Free downloaders can do whatever they want and many of them will end up buying the game but they cannot get the goodies we will get when registering our keys unless they do buy a legit copy!

We're some 6 hours from activation (GoG PDE at least) so be cool... play something else for lousy 6 hours... after three years the waiting is coming to an end! And that's fraking awesome!!!!

Yeah, I'll play some GTAIV, gotta finish this some day lol. 

I have my problems handling anxiety. Specially from games I'm waiting so much. I hope D2D (where I got it and I guess I'll have to 2h+ compared GoG) delivers it on the right time. The whole download will be another pain, hope the servers don't disappoint on getting me a full speed.
