I did when DA:O was released. While not stellar I surely enjoyed DA:O. Back then I thought TW1 was still better in certain areas even being an older game.

I just didn't fall for the (imo) stupid DLC milking and rushed expansions/sequels with the prime goal of cashing in rather than to deliver something with heart, soul and pride

I'm a bit worried as I'll be running it on an aging Pentium 4 ( 3GHz), being kept alive by 2 GB of RAM, a GT 430 2GB (Win XP SP2, and I run all my games at 1024 x 768).

Strange to me that "high" setting run smoother than on "medium". Still trying to find the right balance for my system (core 2 duo e7300 with 6850).

No you don't. GoG version is already patched. From GoG's forum:

"Our release is already patched, so you shouldn't need to patch it for a while."

Reviewer named after a key character from DA2.

Has only written 2 reviews, one of which is a glowing 10 for DA2 for which the explanation sounds more like an advertisement/EA press release than a user's review; and the other is a 0 for Witcher 2 with comments that show he/she has never actually played either Witcher game, only listened to haters' rants.

I wouldn't be surprised if the same person also gives a 0 to Skyrim when it comes out.

Yes, someone needs to investigate this. Potentially another employee scandal in the making.

Ultra settings w/ just uber sampling off gives me 25-50 fps

Some GPU's have a better performance when more is demanded from them. =)

Weird is the game auto settings giving me a medium/high config with my old GF 9600 GT 512MB DDR3 .. it's a cool GPU for Bioware games but TW2 is too demanding for it. hehe

Gotta find my custom settings for a good fps with enough gpx quality!
