 I recently got a copy of Baldur's Gate 2 at my local Goodwill. I install it normally on my 64-bit WinSev and mess with the settings before launching it. I find that I have set the FPS to ludicrous speeds, and save before quitting the game to fix it. When it's back at 30 FPS, I try to launch it, go through the annoying "register this game so we can annoy you!" stuff, and the game doesn't launch. I install the patch, and it doesn't help. Any advice besides reinstalling?
