No Darkspawn companion unless they wear a full face mask or something. It was bad enough in ME2 with everyone being completely oblivious to a goddamn Geth walking about.

I would like to see a dalish elf
companion, who is not hostile towards the player. A darkspawn who has
regained its mind would be cool too.

I think we're sure to see him for some length of time, considering what the devs said about having "planned this." They made it so that he was in Kirkwall for a reason. If we don't see him, then we'll at least see something that was affected in some way by his having been there.Upsettingshorts wrote...

I'm guessing we'll get Nathaniel as a companion because he mentions he's spent some time in Kirkwall.
Wouldn't he be in Amaranthine by the time Hawke gets to Kirkwall? Considering Isabella won't be in Kirkwall till after the Blight is over...

+1
I would like a Darkspawn follower.
Also, I want a female elf LI.
Well seeing as how ME3 hasn't been released yet (or even announced), we only have one point of reference in the ME series. Ashley and Kaidan didn't return in ME2, but that doesn't mean they won't in ME3. In fact it seems extremely likely that they will.crimzontearz wrote...
Have people not learned from ME2? Companions that can die in previous games DO NOT return as full companions in sequels...so NO ONE but perhaps Velanna (who even if she is left at the keep to "die" seems to somehow escape her fate as her body is never found) is coming back as anything more than a cameo
Bioware just doesn't have the quads to do it

Of course they're not. I'm not arguing that your teammates for ME 3 will potentially be everyone from ME2 plus Kaidan/Ashley, which would mean if you got your whole team killed in ME2 you only have one teammate. Obviously they're going to provide alternatives. Hell, you could let Shepard die (again) in ME2; but that doesn't mean those players won't be able to play.crimzontearz wrote...
Occam you know as well as I do that bioware's line of thought on sequels now is "accessible to everyone" and "a good entry point for those who did not play the prequel". They are not going to tell people "yeah well you played ****** poor in the previous game and got a lot of people killed so now you have to deal with less content"

I have a strong feeling we'll see Aveline next, if she's a companion, or maybe "The Hawkes" all grouped together.
Honestly, though, I don't care to see them. I mean...Varric's page was nice and all, but it didn't do much to hype me since I knew everything on it. I want a brand new person.
