I never said I wanted it to be lizardmen it's just somthing  that comes to mind.

Yet more proof the fex are not advanced

Good lord, it better not be some animal/human hybrid. I hated the lizard and cat people in Oblivion. Just couldn't take the idea seriously.

The name Fex sounds to me like a small, pixie-ish race. Maybe something wild and free seeming with bigass troll hair, small bodies, and wild dispositions.

Probably going to get ripped apart for this one but I think they should look like this guy.


Minus the telaportation powers of course.
I'm not a huge X-men fanatic or anything I just really like the design of Nightcrawler (and I'm still pissed he wasn't in X 3 that made the movie suck by itself). I think it could fit in with what a Fex could be as in a jungle dwelling, tree climbing, exotic race. They are human enough to not be considered a half animal race and they appear weak enough to make it plausible that the Qunari could overtake them, plus the pointed ears could hint at elven heritage to give the race more depth.

All we know is that they are native to Par Vollen. David Gaider talks about them (but doesn't say much more than that) a little past 6 minutes into this video.

Five pages and not one suggestion that they could be sentient plant-people? Well that ends now.

I'm thinking they could be 4 to 6 feet tall ent-like creatures (meaning they resemble the trees/ dominant plantlife from their surrounding environment), and would be alien in thought and philosophy (humans and humaniods would find it hard to relate to them or understand their goals and motivations). They'd also be handy to have around if firewood ever became scarce


That being said, I, too, would like to see the aforementioned jungle dwelling halfling-esque race
