I did that thing where you can sleep with Cammen and screw up his relationship once after I read on the boards that you could, and I felt really, really bad afterwards. I still can't do things like kill Dog in the beginning of the game.

I hope to be in the 5% that is the "biggest neutral" player catagory where we get the blandest reaction ever! (I shouldn't of used that exclamation point, that wasn't very neutral...there, three periods should dull it down)

Exactly! Even a hundred-percent Paragon Shepard should experience the thrill of knocking off that ****.

There are definitely some pretty cool moments that you get if you're a nicer person, yeah. And note that other people may not see it as the 'biggest jerk ever' moment - I just couldn't help but think that I would never, ever get that scene.

Neutral doesn't have to be boring. Of course, many "neutral" options would be kinda jerkish. Not active jerkiness, but it's a jerk to, for example, refuse to help either side of a major problem.

I support being a passive jerk in DA2, whether it's funny or serious, emotional or detached/"boring."

Citizen A: We need your help!
Citizen B: We need help too, but you won't be able to help the other guy!
Hawke: I should go.

Related, I love how Bioware create great scenes that only a small amount of players will see.



Like I was replaying ME2, and when you let Grunt out of his cage then don't choose the Charm or Intimidate option, Sheps shoots Grunt five times in the chest just to show that he means business.



People who play Bioware games as a saint are seriously missing out.

I saw a scene yesterday that was really, really cool. My only complaint afterwards - probably less than 5% of the players will ever see it because it pretty much involves being the biggest jerk ever.

I hope the dialogue wheel is clear on the jerk options.

It's in the Deep Roads part, where you find a guy in a cage and he may be sick from taint exposure. You can choose to let him go

Yeah kudos for that.

I've roleplayed a John Crichton-ish Sentinel last time, and I ROFLed so hard when I could tell Ethan Jeong that they can use the Feros incident as "Tourism and Movie Rights!" to promote ExoGeni.

So any chance I can sell old family hawke into slavery then, should fetch a pretty good price bethany is pretty so once shes been tranquilled its off to the brothel, carver looks fairly strong and might last a few years down the mines and I guess ma could be a washer woman or some such. Would be nice to get a few extra sovereigns when starting out and maybe make some useful contacts on my way to seizing the champions crown.

I know neutral doesn't have to be boring. I was very vaguely eluding to an episode of Futurama from a few years ago (or many years, I don't know, I'm old!).







Most of my characters tend to center around a neutral stance based upon their upbringing, race, social status, what I imagine, ect. So sometimes my playthroughs sound pretty "jerky" too. One of my Dalish character had no qualms killing off the werewolves for example because Zathrian was an effective leader whom others would follow in the war against the Blight, a role model for the Dalish and could have a foothold on knowledge pretaining to the longevity of the ancient elves. All good reasons to kill off a few descendants humans who raped and murdered innocent young elves. Oh, also humans were responsible for telling the Dalish warden and Tamlen about the cursed cave, then routing the Dalish from the forests regardless of whether your warden character kills one, all or lets the humans leave in the begining of the Origin.



So yeah...neutral decisions rock and are usually the way of the world, this world or Thedas.

It is very difficult to accidentally be a jerk. Moreover, it is very difficult to accidentally be a jerk consistently.
