BioWare forums are always filled with hater trolls, no matter for which series.Sursion wrote...
Wow. The Mass Effect community is saying Mass Effect should not win awards. I find your lack of faith disturbing.
Anyway, out of those games? ME is definitely the best series, though The Witcher 2 is coming soon, so I might change my mind (IMO ME2 > Witcher 1 > DAO > ME1). DA2 is also coming, but I'm having doubts.

Seeing as this is the same site who listed Ashley as there seven most irritating woman because they don't understand her and her opinion differs from them, I take what ever Gamesrader says with a grain of salt.Sursion wrote...

Depands really, if you count new franchises then yes ME is better, but if you count all active franchises still doing games, then I disagree, FO, LoZ,MGS, Metorid and even the platforming Mario games(not the crappy sport or party games) and even DA are better then the ME series.Phaedon wrote...
Personally, I can think of a few franchises better than ME's but they all started in a previous console generation. So I guess that they don't count.

I had no idea Casey looked so much like Zachary Quinto! This is fantastic news indeed.

My problem isn't with ME series getting an award or recognition . I have massive problems with the idea that me2 should be the blue print for all sequels. That is an extremely bad idea in my opinion. I love bioware , I love the ME . But I do disagree with some things they do.

I feel sorry for Zachary, that he looks like that tool name Chud.

Sadly Liam, this is how Bioware thinks. All this postive stuff about ME2, with hardly any critisim does not bode well for the series, or future Bioware games in genral. Oh well, we still have the FO series at least.LiamN7 wrote...

But they obviously didn't count the ones that started in another gen, hence 'new franchises'. Otherwise, I'd be shocked to not see my other favourite franchises on that list.kraidy1117 wrote...

IN YOUR OPINION! Jeez why is it so hard for people to type IMO when stating their opinion? Unless they purposefully want to be confrontational or think their opinions are fact.kraidy1117 wrote...

You know that I mostly agree with your views Seeker, but ME is just too young a franchise to be compete with the classics such as Mario or GTA. Maybe it will once ME3 is over, maybe when the next game after ME3 is out, but it's too early to decide that.

I don't think he is talking about you, it's the people who refuse to aknoledge(sp) ME2 faults but always pick at ME faults. You at least pick at both games, even if you prefer ME2, you at have stated many times that the main story was disapointing and have poked at the fualts of the game.DarthCaine wrote...

Wasn't directed at you. You might fit that profile sometimes. I sometimes fit the role of bash me2 at any turn depending on how angry I am on any given day. There are people on both sides and some times we all fall somewhere in the middle.DarthCaine wrote...

FO
not going to say much however when FO3 and FONV is compared to ME, it's fairly clear who has the better story.... FO3 and FONV's story is very poor...
LoZ/Mario
....erm, what story?
Metorid
fell flat on it's face once sexism became an issue.
MGS
IT'S A CONSPIRACY!!

*massive facepalm* ME2 had a better story then NV, FO and FO2? Don't make me laugh. ME had a better story then NV but not FO and FO2. Mario is never about story, if you don't think Zelda has a story, then I suggest you pay attention better. Ah the classic "I don't understand MGS so it's stupid" it's not hard to understand.mad825 wrote...

You complain about the sexism in Metorid yet ME2 did it worse(Miri's outfit, camara views, Jack, Samara's boobies, sexual jokes and the asari who can have ex with everything.)
