New game -> Select Dragon Age: Awakening -> Loading screen -> 20 seconds later, ''Access Error, Unable to access required downloadable content stored on an xbox 360 storage device. The game will now restart. Any unsaved progress will be lost.''

Ok, i have the Ultimate Edition, installed EVERYTHING on the install disc, it all seems to work apart from Awakening.

Have tried going into memory settings and deleted all traces of the downloadable content and then reinstall them via disc, but to no effect, same results.

Downloadable content selection screen says i have all content 'downloaded' everything apears on harddrive also.

Could it be a corrupt disc?

Any help will be GREATLY apreciated.

Although I do not have the Ultimate Edition, I had a similar issue when playing Awakening. For me, it appeared to be due to the free dlc item Embri's Many Pockets. I imagine other dlc could potentially cause this as well?

Have you tried connecting to Xbox live? That resolved the issue for me. It isn't really a complete fix because it only works while you're connected, but it may work for you in the short term until someone comes along to offer a better solution.

Did it all online, also tried offline with no success

Just tried my replacement disc, and same thing is happening, so i can assume maybe the dlc dosent like my hardrive?

Was on phone with EA for an hour or so and came to the conlusion that i neeeded to format my HDD, did that and it works fine...
