I have never been so shocked by the terrible work I recieved by EA. MANY gamers have had troubles with the achievements / trophies "Master Warden" and "Blight Quelle"
Dispite me talking to a live agent they rufused to do anything about it!! I'm completely outraged by this shoddy support.

Any help anyone can offer is more than welcome!

Uninstall the game and only install the game with the first patch. You can obtain those trophies that way. Than install/patch the game as you see fit. I received both of those trophies prior to the first patch being released on PS3. I also been playing since day 1 since it came out.

@MEBengal2008 I have indeed resulted in doing this I am however wondering if the kill count goes back down to zero. And if it also adds the killcount over multiple playthroughs. Such as two different characters.

I don't know how it works. I believe the game just kept count of my kills regardless of the character I was playing. I received both feats on the same character within hours. Also, the original patch 1.01 or something like that, it counted all Darkspawn killed by the group not just by the main character.

@MEBengal2008 Many thanks, I'll be sure to try it all out and i'll let you know what happens. It's such a shame that they haven't made a patch to fix these bugs.

I'm not sure if you're talking about the Ultimate Edition but I'm "suffering" from the same problem. I don't collect trophies so it's not a big deal for me, I just noticed it when I was looking my statistics and it said: 617 Darkspawn killed, yet no trophy.

The ultimate edition has all the patches of the standard game up to 1.04. Unfortunately DAO UE you may never be able to obtain the two trophies; however, if you have the original game or SE you can delete the game data down to the original patch 1.01 and should be able to obtain the trophies.

Well i'm playing the Ultimate Edition and i've deleted all the patchs for it and i'm currently playing it without any patches installed. So with any luck it SHOULD work. But i'm not holding my breath.

I've unlocked both Grey Warden and Blight Queller trophies on the Ultimate Edition (and without deleting any patches).

Going by the info in the above link, with the patch, your main character must be the one killing the darkspawns and it needs to be done in a single playthrough. You can re-load your saves over and over to rack up the kill count until the trophies pop. That's what happened when I was aiming for all the different endings on a single playthrough.

Well I finally got them both! I did delete the patches but i'm not sure if that helped or not. But what I did is kept reloading the final battle and doing the elven alienage over and over and it didn't take as long as I thought it would and sure enough they both came up

Update : After some patience it paid off, and I finally received the Platinum!
