I know there are a bunch of these, but I find it tedious to wade through the crashes associated with the planet that is Feros.  

This crash happens when I'm cutting the arm off of the Geth ship (where you have to get the power to the right amount in the Exogen HQ), and it gets so far in the cutscene, and then freezes, leaving me with a system crash (I have to reboot).  

I've up to that point been running it on maxed graphics, and I have updated my drivers, turned down the graphics, etc.  Does one of the patches fix this?  If i don't need to download a patch I'm not going to.  

I hate Securom and all it stands for.

have you tinkered with your BIOEngine.ini ? if so back it up and delete it then start up the game....



its hard to say really, you can backup your saved games and reinstall or try the absolute lowest video settings available with advanced sound options turned off or disable your audio device just to try get passed that point.... good luck

If it's a prerendered cinematic then it could be a corrupt installation so a reinstall should fix it.
