DA2 imports any saved game file from DAO that you choose on your hard drive.  The online social network does NOT include saved game data, just basic information about your character, and it has NOTHING to do with DA2.

Online profile contains a story xml file, and I think I saw a discussion that mentions that it can be used, but if one can use local save files it solves some problems.

Can you provide a link?  I find that odd only because, having started to play DA2, it offered no option to do so.  I will add that you can choose from a few "canned" scenarios instead of importing a saved game.  So folks may be able to get an approximation of what they accomplished.

I'm willing to bet at this point that this problem will never be fixed. I'm also willing to bet they cut the file cap in half again sometime soon.

Now my DA2 hasn't updated since 3/16. Is this related? WTF.

Okay, I still can't update and I've tried everything. Are any other phantom screenshot people having trouble with DA2 updating?

I think I would have preferred they took the stance of pretending this wasn't a problem rather than saying they would fix it and then just not bother. At least we all could have given up hope a long time ago.

I have 27 phantom screenshots uploaded that I can't delete. Hadn't noticed until quite recently when I realised I was over my maximum file quota, so I deleted them from my profile (and in game) then deleted lots of old characters that don't exist in my DAO any more.

Got to back under the file quota maximum, but according to my profile diagnostics, my profile is still completely messed up. I wish they'd just provide us with a "blat everything" option if they can't fix it. I'd be happy to just start over with a clean, empty profile.
