I ASKED. If you feel offended by a request, then MAYBE there's something wrong with you.
I have several things wrong with me, a bad knee, I need new windshield wipers, I hate Tuesdays, etc.,
My issue really is the hypocrisy. Did you ask the other buy/sell thread too? Probably not, because YOU think that one is ok and relates to your personal preference. It just seems a little unbalanced is all.
No offense taken, just trying to get the facts together. <3

No offense taken big dog, just trying to get the facts together. <3
The other thread did not link eBay shops or auctions in an advertising manner. It was for information only. (I don't know about the most recent developments there.) Here, you do link shops, advertising it/them. This thread still is about selling/buying lithos. Maybe you could just post your prices, add: 'I constantly have lithos on sale' (or not) and then: 'PM for further details', and give the link in private. (Suggestion, nothing else!)
Why should I prefer the other thread? Let me guess, you think that I have a second user name here, too? (This is interpretation. Fact is that I did not post here on this very thread until today and that I only posted once on the other buy/sell/trade thread.)
Oh, and posting smileys will not change the general tone of your post - as lovely as they might be.

I beg to differ.
We can go round and round, or those who hate Ebay can stick to their own threads and request that Ebay be kept out of their threads. hockeyguy asked that ebay be kept out their thread, and I thought that was a fair request, but that doesn't mean that I think it's right for people to come to this thread and tell it how it go. Your request and general discontent for Ebay has been noted here and in the past, so what's say we move past that and move on? The reality is that people aren't going to find those hard to get lithos at cost + shipping, or at least most won't.
P.S.

Some of you need to calm yourselves down. Yes, sabiansix can be obnoxious. It is understandable that you dislike both him and the content of his posts. But when you make critical posts directed at him, the only thing you're doing is creating an argument that will go nowhere -- and in this process, our beautiful forum becomes a less friendly place to be. Be the bigger (wo)man and ignore him.
Please note that this is not directed solely at the people who have posted in this thread, but the entire forum. (I'm looking at you especially, ilikeicehockey!).

Are you referring to buying/selling of lithographs or the banter? Are all buy/sell threads off topic then? I'm not challenging the head cheese, just looking for clarification!

I don't see how any eBay related post is relevant to the Bioware store.
Gratz on your promotion to moderator!
Ya know, this thread had been dormant for three days while waiting for Jed to say something. And you guys blame me for stirring the pot...
This thread serves the purpose of tracking down lithos that have long since been gone. The reality is that 95% of people selling retired lithos, aren't going to sell for cost + shipping, which is the restriction put on the other thread by the topic creator. Now if the powers that be, don't want Ebay auctions linked to, I understand that, but I don't see why somebody shouldn't be able to say: "I'll sell the Normandy litho here for 200 bucks plus shipping to somebody here on the forums before I try to sell it elsewhere." Once again, nevermind the fact that you are much much safer buying lithos from Ebay than you are from buying lithos from somebody on a forum due to buyer protection policies.
But hey, whatever the mods say. It's there party.

Hey Sabian,
Since ebayers tend to get some heat when posting in these and similar threads; therefore as a solution, have you considered simply making an ebay litho thread?
Peace

Honestly, I thought the TC was cool and happy to see the addition to this thread, plus it kind of meshed, but then the status quo crowd got all up in arms about it, so yeah... I'd be more than happy to do that, but I want to see what the mods say first so that I can do it without 50 comments from the Apple Dumpling Gang.

I'm pretty sure Jedi is referring to the banter. If not, he would have already made a comment or closed the related "Litho Trading/Selling..." thread, or immediately made the post when this thread was initially created prior to the banter.

Those are my thoughts as well, and yeah, I think there are too many presumptions made around here without mods as it is, so I'll wait.
