Ok i liked ME1's mod system where u got the gun and it had 2 to 3 spots where modular components can go.  I liked this form of modification bechause it gave you a sence of cousomization ,for instance you just got the spctre assult rifle there should be 3 spots ,2 weapon upgrades and an ammo upgrade spot then it is up to u to put what YOU think suits your wepon best.  ME2's system was good but it was lacking ,it was just gathering minerals and then clicking a button and all the upgrade did was ad a letter to the end of each weapon name making it a diferent variant ofthe same gun with no real differance in apperance.

Well i was thinking the SR-2 scince lab and armory are very well done ,i give those at bioware that desinged the layout of the ship major props.  With that being said this is what i think should be done ,i like the idea of researching and more or less finding these upgraded , having to search for the recorces is boaring as all hell but i do like the idea of it although i would like to see maybe like a mini game, like the button sequence to hack doors from ME1. that would give you the upgrade but instead of it automaticly being added to the gun it gets put in your inventory (like the one from ME1) then you shimmy over to the armory where all the guns are layed out then instead of just choosing the loadout of your squad ,you could also choose what upgrades they have on there gun.  Along with the internal upgrades like recoil damener ,extended barell ,Vi interface etc. i would like to see some external components like a front grip for stabuility or an advanced scope.

what do you think.
