I've been trying to come up with a good male and female for Hawke, But nothing I could come up with rolled off the tongue well except for my Grey Warden's name which I don't want to use. Does anyone have any good names for a:
Male, Warrior, Sarcastic Hawke.
And a:
Female, Mage, Fiery yet Gentle Fem Hawke.

Also if you have an other good names that you plan on using share it...

I'm sorry, but every time I hear "Hawke" my first thought is that if his first name isn't "Kid" then they're missing out on something truly awesome.

Well I quite like the default names: Garrett and Marian. Marian, I think, would fit your female description especially.

For my alternate names, I try to keep them somewhat traditional, as most human names seem to be real-world names or at least similar: Alistair, Bethany, Irving, Bryce, Fergus, Aldous, etc. So with that in mind, and wanting to make the name sound natural combined with "Hawke," most of my alternates follow suit: Marcus, Thomas, etc. For some reason I think bisyllabic first names sound best with monosyllabic surnames.

Either that or they discriminate against people using the space bar in the character creation screen.

I'm still going with Ebon Hawke for my first character though the defaults sound nice in their own right. Kind of bummed that Ebonhawke is also the name of a city in Guild Wars 2, thought I was being semi-original with a reference to KOTOR.

I'm veering towards Godric Hawke for my first playthrough, although I have also considered Lysander. I can be fickle however, like the wind. Who knows what I'll be naming him by the time launch comes around.

Oh yeah, and it's Etain or Lyra for my first female Hawke.
