I think she's probably gonna be a squadmate.

New squadmates, at least one new romance for both genders, and a ****** option. Controversy is for ninnies.
Piggybacking on that, a bi romance option voiced by Nathan Fillion. Please oh please? I want to be romanced by Captain Mal no matter my gender.

I'd rather we just expand on the already established romances.
this:
a " new" flame may be a decent Idea... but when it comes down to it, there is already something established, be it be it ME1, ME2, or both ( such as with Liara)
But notice something about these romances, so far Liara is the only one that has had any form of development " even though it's fairly weakly done"
most of the romances have very little to them beyond " a moment " and in that I feel they could improve on, actually having to sustain, and maintain a relationship. Actually expereancing the need to compromise, sacrifice, and cohabitat and all that is where the real challange is, but they did a good job opening the door so to speak for that.

Maybe a human, another human Spectre no less, that might kill two birds, since more Spectres are something a lot of fans (myself included) would like to see. A dashing assassin or even sentinel, sort of fellow, many of the same basic abilities and weapons skills as Thane, but a different attitude and background. Nate Fillion would be BEYOND PERFECT as voice.

As Thane is dying, it would be nice for FemSheps to have a “replacement” (that’s really a horrible way of putting that). Feron? I don't’ know he’s kinda on Liara’s squad now (she needs a loyal bodyguard anyway). Koylat? Way too weird.

It's a nice idea, but I know my Shepard would personally mourn Thane rather than jump someone else (even if it was Feron). I think I'll leave Kolyat in the hands of Bailey since I don't see him doing well on the Normandy; besides the fact that he isn't a combat specialist, he's still a kid. He'd have to play with the other kid: Grunt. That might not end well.
I'm also in the 'flesh out remaining romance' camp, but I have a feeling Bioware will throw in a new romance for the new fans. And it will probably be an asari, since they cover both sexualities and the alien quota.
...An asari with Nate Fillion as VA.
Yeah. I would be alright with that.

Oh, who am I kidding... I'll buy the game and play it regardless of what romances are available. I'll probably play it a thousand times. But lack of expansion on the old romances would make me a sad panda indeed.

I too would be thrilled to see the established romances expanded in ME3 (most of all I want the ME1 romances to continue). As long as that is in the game, I will ask for nothing else. If all we get are new romances, I might not even play the game.

Yeah, but what about the people who never played ME1 or 2? There HAS to be something for them, even if it's a sucky, underdeveloped option.

Those people shouldn't even be allowed to play the game.

I really don't get why people who haven't played the old ones must be considered the enemy, here.... :/
