Right, so I'm progressing through SOZ quite well, gaining a couple of magical items on the way and I'm looking to sell them. The thing is, all merchants I've met will only allow me to sell it at a maximum price of 1000 gold. These items are +2 and +3, so I'm sure they're worth more than that.
So the question is, are they any merchants which will offer more for these items or is this the limit for selling items?

There are several merchants who will pay more. Including in the first town. You need to talk to everybody who has a name.

Yep, I managed to find one buying my items for a higher price when I freed Port Llast from the Luskans. Thanks, though.

If you're already in Port Llast, you'll be swimming in gold soon, no need for merchants.

. Two most generous merchants are Thayan merchant in Neverwinter who gives a maximum of 10000 gp and Vadin'ya in Samargol who pays 12000 gp at most.
