So I'm in the temple and I've found the boss in there (sorry I haven't played it in ages so can't remember specifics) but every time I get in there I last about five minutes before getting killed. My main character is about level 40, I've killed all the mages yet I still die when facing tongue face. Any suggestions?

Level 40???

Easy/cheesy way: if you have a mage, cast Shadow Simulacrum.

Well, what do you have? You can maybe cast it from a scroll, if there's any available, but there are other tactics.

And what's your real level? Because the cap is 30, and you'll be much less than that if you played with a newly created party.

Download the SoZ Party Editor here http://nwvault.ign.c...I.Detail&id=125. This will alter your player menu, adding the ability to access the Party Editor at any time. You can then use the Party Editor to import a high level mage or two.

Our party's cleric seemed to carry the day with Searing Light.

Of course, we were all 17th level.
