Yes, but not the best available later in the game.

It's a bit specialised for me. Although good against dragons, fights with dragons are very few and far between in the game. And it is only 'fairly decent' against anything else. Better weapons out there.

Oh I dunno. I tend to play my wardens and their companions like golfers. Sand trap, take out the wedge. Green, use the putter. Dragon, remove Yusaris.

It looks totally badass, who cares if it's good or not?

It's not hard to acquire while you complete Broken Circle. Use it and see for yourself. There are better weapons available later in the game, but if you're happy with Yusaris, by all means keep using it.

Yusaris is actually the leftmost of the two swords in the start game menu screen. I never use it but I like to keep it as a relic in the party storage chest at Warden's Keep.

That sword is i remember, you could give it to Oghren when he has the stock armor to complete the set.You could get a better sword by killing the dragon in the throne room in Orzammar.

No. In Origins, there are 7 other greatswords that have higher damage, 2 of them have better crit and Armor Pen.

The +20% Fire Resist. is almost always useless when you have Greater Warmth Balms and you shouldn't be melee attacking Dragons anyway (+damage vs. Dragons also useless).

I stick with the Dragonbone Cleaver through Origins and most of Awakening until I can make Vigilance.

The dragonbone cleaver has to be unlocked from dlc, but yes, that is what I've been having Sten/Oghren use as soon as the str requirement has been met. That maul that Gorim sells might be better, but the cleaver has a nice +8 wil and +5 damage, and is given to you from the start.

You know, the Chasind Great Maul has +5 damage too and has +75 stamina, which is actually worth more than +8 will. It also has stamina regen.

What makes me wonder if the Dragonbone Cleaver is actually better is the +10% crit damage. I haven't really tested this yet. From what I can tell, the two weapons are close at least. CGM does have the stamina advantage though.

Nug Crusher is the best 2h weapon imo at least until Chasind Great Maul. However, I love Ageless. All powered up with silverite runes. Mmm... bye bye Darkspawn! :)
