Negativ was the lacking view distance. The Gamescom version had a light
OTS camera.Like in ME2,Bioware changes the role-play elements towards a
more action like and console fitting gameplay. The controls are
different and laid out for the Gamepad and consoles

Clear console port.

Sorry, do not understand you here - Are you trying to say that there is no true tactical camera in PC version ?

I think so. Anyone who is skilled in german can translate this? I think it just means that the camera sucks.

I don't really know what I'm talking about but I hope that this totally unkown to me language plus google translator allow me to bash BioWare.
Have you lost your bridge?

I'll give it a try.

In the GamesCom 2010 demo version there was only a slightly rotatable shoulder cam. As in Mass Effect 2, Bioware switched from a roleplaying focus to more action-oriented console gameplay. In contrast to Dragon Age Origins, the controls are clearly designed for the gamepad and therefore the console.

Alright, back to the 8-ball versus Ouja board debate. I was just about to post this, but then i found the thread was already locked. So mad!

I wish someone made a character that uses an 8-ball for a prosthetic eye. All you'd have to do is ask him a question and shake his head and youll know your future. He would be such a tormented character because he could never use his gifts for himself!

I could totally see him being in the next mgs game

Did I miss something ? - Whatever you may think of the poster and his conduct, the tactical camera concern is still valid.

LOL. The article is old and we have allready discussed it (Date: 18 of August). We do not know how the new camera will work. Maybe is bad, but no one has allready seen it as far as I know.

Didn't someone say the camera was now going to be some sort of hybrid design?

Your link is broken, but I managed to get to the article.

I'm not a native speaker but this seems to say that:

* The reviewer seemed to like the new camera
* People will play Hawke with relish

Well, I am a native speaker and this article is the worst translation I've ever read...it just gave me a lol....so I guess I'll have to take it for what it's meant to be.....a (naughty) joke? ;)

This is very old news, Gamescom was in August. Bioware said at the time that they hadn't finished working on the tactical camera, hence it wasn't shown in the demos.

Anyway if any of you ever listen to Active Time Babble on 1UP.com, the podcast about the state of Western RPGs, Kat Bailey discusses the PC version of the game and says it is more or less similar to what was previous with just view tweaks so to speak (not as high up as you could get it in the original game).

Great another console port. Hopefully this one isn't a ****ty port. I don't know if Fallout 3 or New Vegas were console ports, but the PC version didn't feel like a console port and felt like a PC game considering how less buggy it is with mods.
