Of course they're lying about the PC version. Duh?! I would, too. It's got a seperate development cycle than the console and it's going to be a more robust product than the console version...just like DA:O. So, it makes sense that it is behind the console in development progress, because the PC version will have to do everything the console version can, and have all the little bells and whistles that PC Gamer Master Race (or as I call them, whiners*) need to feel special.
Saying that prior to release will only alienate the console players though, while alienating the PC users has the built in resolution of ultimatly giving them access to what will be regarded as a 'superior' product. Just like DA:O. In the end, the console gamers will be happy to get a game that combines the best of action gaming and narrative RPG's, while the PC's will get all that and the camera, the modding, the controls, and the holier than thow attitude they do do so enjoy.
*Well, most of you aren't whiners....just a couple.
Yes, god forbid PC gamers would want the same features that have been a part of the platform for 10 years.. We are so greedy.. Just like with cars, they should just remove ABS, traction control and air conditioning because those features aren't in gokarts, and to want those in a car = whiner..
We should just accept and approve of the oversimplification of the industry. Because since consoles are so limited, PC's should be as well.. <_<
On topic, iso view being included as it was isn't really a concern for me as ots view was what I mostly used. The over the top look limited my view more than helped it in reality. No depth perception, clunky camera movement, limited range in direction etc.
If they take longer to release a camera that actually does it's job than more power to em, because if they had simply copy and pasted the original DA:O version over I wouldn't care as I wouldn't use it.
Like others however, I really wish they'd release a simple video showing the action on PC as all the console vids I've seen don't showcase tactical pausing/issuing orders at all, and that more than anything, gameplay wise, is what I'm curious about..
