Order to play expansions

I played part of main story but it was many years ago.
Now I'm gonna play the game again.
Wondering, to get most out of the game should I first play the original game and then install the expansions?
Thanks.

I played this game for like 9 years...but never in single player or in the campaigns...I think when I say that I even don't know who Aribeth is most people will say I am ignorant :-P
Anyway...I've HEARD that the expansions actually are better...so you could just start with them maybe...

The campaign that came with the original NWN game.
The expansions and player made modules are not "original" I guess....

Fly, that puts you in the elite of the elite! I bought nwn in 2002 and i did play the OC one time and i didnt enjoy it. I played nwn since 2004 RELIGIOUSLY for 5 years online. I have never seen SOU nor HOTU. And i never cared nor felt i missed anything.

Very, VERY Easily.... original accounts from the original forums were NOT transfered to this site, EVERYONE had to "re-join". Do some slight research before slamming folks, many, MANY people chose new nicks when they were forced to join these forums. Not everyone kept their old nicks, and regardless, there is no way to get the old dates from your original accounts.
I purchased the orginal game after it was released, missed the OC release date by about 6 months though. However, I didn't join the online community for well over a year as well.

I believe jml was only teasing SuperFly2000 with a wink and being ironic with regard to the disruption in NWN players' "CV" that was caused by the move from the so called legacy boards. I'm pretty sure he knows all of that himself and was more aiming at denouncing the loss of community members REAL join date, not bashing SuperFly2000 at all.
But I admit you'd have to know him a bit to to get his jokes, sometimes - as in this case - they're not all that clear. Cut him some slack, he's French.

I'm so d.... proud of you and if I ever get slammed by anyone here, but I'm afraid I'm the only one who actually does it... I'll make sure to let my opponent know what NWN players like yourself are made of.
I deeply apologize for my unpardonable behavior... but I can't regret the joke.
For it was a bad one.
Unfortunately for him, SuperFly_2000 happens to be one of my friends here and that's just a french, english for stupid, some even say twisted, I would say shy, way to say Hi... instead of just saying Hi!
It might seem complicated at first sight, but don't you worry, if it is, it's only for me.
And for once, I'm afraid to say olivier leroux was right. Wait, didn't I say that already some place else?
I hate many features about that new site. The first one was probably that "friends" thingy.
Tonight?
Olivier, if I wasn't already french, tonight I could easily be german. But a female one.
Proud of you guys, all of you. Even girls...
But SuperFly_2000 who, apparently, hasn't answered my claim yet...
Guess why...
So do I... believe me. But that's a beautiful thing to say. About anyone.olivier leroux wrote...

jml's humor is like a jelly doughnut. You don't know what you'll get until you take the first biteBannor Bloodfist wrote...
Ok, sorry that I missed the joke side of it, I just misunderstood what was going on. And on that note, I will keep my nose out of other folks business for at least, what? 24 hours? Teehe..

Last, Bannor Bloodfist: "I will keep my nose out of other folks business for at least, what? 24 hours?"
The earliest the better! 'love that one.
That's your business anyway. There is no such a thing as being off-topic when it comes to NWN. And it's a fine answer you made actually.
