I originally purchased Dragon Age (origins), and beat it.  Yay!

I wanted the expansion, but before I bought it, they came out with the ultimate edition... Calculating the costs of the downloads (plus the expansion I wanted), I could save quite a bit by buying the ultimate edition, so that's what I did.


Now, with Dragon Age (origins) already installed, I happily put in my new disk for the ultimate edition.  I registered my new CDs via their authentication code, and I downloaded all that nifty content it came with.  Happy so far.

However;  How do I access the Awakening content?  It never prompted me to install it, nor did it say anywhere that I have it installed.  I don't know how (in game) to access it, to continue my adventure...  And I never even was prompted to use the second CD that the box came with (and when I do, it tells me basically that I am using the wrong disk)...

So - How do I install my Awakening Expansion from the Ultimate Edition... or, if it's already somehow magically there, how do I access that content?

Sorry to give you bad news Spiritchan
Full installation of DAOUE requires both discs.
You should have had the prompt for disc 2 and installed the content.
Then use disc 1 in the drive to play after authorising the additional content.
To play Awakening you go to Other Campaigns on the in game load menu.

You can install over the top of DAO...I did.

I ended up having to uninstall (luckily, it gave me the option of keeping my characters), then re-install from the new box set I had - and that seemed to work like a charm.
