Hopefully Flemeth's intentions are explained... or at least... we get some idea of what she really is...

Did anyone ever figure out what Morrigan's gift to the Warden was? Assuming the Warden didn't go with her, that is. Everything else in Witch Hunt wrapped up rather nicely into a single, cohesive, loose thread. Well, except for the bit about Finn and the statue. And the fate of Dog if you go through the portal.
There's a bow, and a robe, annnnd... something else. A ring maybe? I don't know. They carry over into other campaigns.
Also the book.

Now, Witch Hunt (spoilers) ends with Morrigan saying Flemeth isn't a human or an abomination. So maybe its just semantics, but Demon inside of human body = abomination, regardless of the behavior/attitude or agenda of the demon. Flemeth seems to be in more control than any other abomination, but I don't think that makes her less of a mage with a demon inside her.

How someone could play through that **** and think it was the best thing ever is beyond me. Recycled environments, pushover enemies that made the combat seem boring...and the worst thing was the encounter with Morrigan. Nothing was said, no hints, nothing. It's a horrible waste of time and money, only to serve as a teaser to the next time we see her. Hopefully it isn't another piece of lackluster DLC.
*stab*
She falls back into portal saved by Gaiders writing yet again.
Pointless.
Waste of money. Glad i watched it on youtube instead.

Actually, Morrigan didn't contradict herself about Flemeth. Morrigan told you what she was told from her mother about her 'past' as a mage/abomination. This just showed that Flemeth lied to Morriganscyphozoa wrote...
I really liked Witch Hunt. I didn't like Morrigan contradicting herself about Flemeth. When you ask Morrigan about Flemeth in DAO, she says Flemeth was once a mage, who first spoke with spirits, and later summoned a demon. Morrigan is uncertain of how much of Flemeth remains or how much control the demon has, but she is quite clear to explain that she was a mage who summoned a demon in which they entered into some kind of symbiotic relationship.

Witch Hunt just showed that Morrigan learned the truth about Flemeth. Hell, I think Flemeth had the body switching thing designed to make Morrigan behave more predictably.

My favorite thing about it was the three-way banter.
Wish that would happen more often.

Morrigan's gift was a random assortment of items that you yourself collected throughout the Witch Hunt campaign and then magically sent back in time to another Warden's origin?

In the last cutscene before the credits rolled, there was a second tome beside the Dalish tome that Morrigan stole. Forgive me if I'm mistaken but I thought this might have been Flemeth's true Grimoire that revealed Flemeth's true character. Perhaps Morrigan translated this tome and left it behind for the Warden to use to deal with Flemeth permanently.

I buy DLC because I love the game, but Bioware definitely dropped the ball on this one. Next time, I will wait to see what the feedback is in the forums before I purchase. Lesson learned.
