New idea! ok this just randomly popped into my head at work... How about eventually making a collectors book.  What I mean is a book that lists all merchandise ME (and/or DA) related that is of limited edition status especially numbered such as lithos/statues.  Compile a list toss in small pictures some comments by the artists/creators and sell the book so people can learn more about the great artwork while keeping a nice tidy list of what collectibles they own (and which number it is)  Obviously this would either have to be released much further down the road or have several editions released over time.  Perhaps a new book after the ME2 merch dries up and then one after ME3.


If anyone knows of updated information please send me a PM and I will get the list updated.  Or if anyone else has suggestions please send them as well.  I will try to keep this list updated as I see Official posts by Jedi or other mods.

I've suggested this before but this looks pretty offical and all... Cloth Wallscrolls.
I love them because they're textured and much more durable than normal posters. There's so many things that Bioware could do with them. I'd LOVE to see Tali/Miranda/Morrigan/Legion/Garrus/Allistair/Normandy/Arch Demon wallscrolls. The bigger the better. I have a few from Resident Evil and Final Fantasy games and they're amazing looking.

Great to see my suggestion on there, although the price might be too high for almost everybody. They could make smaller ones to lower the cost a bit. I ordered a Headcrab Zombie and the price including shipping is around $350.

Dragon Age Swords selling for $400.00 I don't think Bioware is to concerned with price of potential hot sellers

Just like to mention here that no official wallscroll has been released from Square Enix Japan (few rare promotional pieces may be possible). Most cloth wallscrolls for games are of Hong Kong / Chinese / Thai / whatever SE-Asian (not meant to insult any Asian) origin. They mainly use images from desktop wallpapers, calendars or artbooks and soundtrack manuals. The graphic quality on closer inspection is... very lacking (because of the low resolution of the small original image).

Yeah, I know my RE ones are official but the FF one I have, while amazing looking, is probably unofficial. I picked it up while out of the country a few years back and haven't regretted it. With the FF series crashing and burning, it's nice to remember when their games meant something besides being flashy.

I just noriced another gamedeveloper thats selling ship collectables.
Here's a picture of one of the models:

I would prefer Gamingheads because of the superb quality of both the material used and the paint work. Besides, I asked a Eve Online staff what company produces their statues, but I did not get an answer to that question.

Looks like Crjans already updated his list to reflect this, but here's the pic anyways. Non-CE buyers of ME2 should be happy with the extra-special artbook (larger and better than the one that came with the CE). Personally, I like the Messenger bag and the Fleece - nice reserved look...but I was hoping the jacket would have a little more - at the very least, the arm stripe - and for $78?....   ...oh well.

The quote from facebook - i assumed as it's apparently 'highly desired' and its notably not the 'mini-version' and they're releasing it for individual sale, they might actually add some more content, which is certainly possible...same number of pages, possibly, but the pages themselves are roughly 2x larger - so bigger pictures or more content?  I don't know, but neither do you...

Larger perhaps, but I fail to see anything making it "better". Judging by pagecount, it's going to have the exact some content, which is disappointing. A fair bit of art that was made did not make it into either book, including Matt Rhodes' awesome spread of alternate designs for Jack. Far more impressive than the 3 roughs and the final that were put in the art book.

The book is a complete cop-out to be honest. The original Mass Effect art book cost the same and was almost 200 pages long.
