Okay, it's Zaeed in the olden days. Clearly this is true because he has a Mass Effect gun!! Then, then, he also has honeycomb patterns on his armor so that means, get ready for it, Zaeed is actually Miranda!! Clearly he had a sex change where he turned into Miranda and the "Zaeed" in ME2 is just a robot construct, hence the goofy-lookin' face. That also explains why Miranda is sterile.
The game will clearly focus on a struggle between Mirandaeed's male and female psyche, acting as a paragon/renegade system. Gotta be it. Nothing else makes sense.
