It's not going to be DLC. They may announce more, but probably not what this announcement is.



It's either something about DA2(though I would have figured somebody would have hinted at that by now), SWTOR, or (hopefully) something completely new. I'm pulling for Jade Empire 2 myself.

probably idle hope, but I hope they announce a ME2 expansion pack. on disc. coming out simultainiously with ps3 version for xbox, and not (yet) for PS3

Usually not,  no. My guess is that it's gonna be an ME/DA spin-off or something.

Actually Rockstar Games announced Lost and Damned DLC for GTA: IV at the VGAs.....

We pay $10 for a 2 hour story for ME2 but Rockstar charges us $10 for a 6-10 hour story plus new multiplayer modes for Red Dead Redemption....

USA is only country in EA opinion.

I think they'll announce a community event in the entire EU except France and Germany that encourages fans to spam message boards all over the internet with BioWare links.

If ME3 is announced, then I will not be happy. That means no Ash/Kai dlc(that would take a lot of resources and that will not happen if the main focus is now ME3)



It's too early, spend time on the dam game, don't rush.



If this does happen, expect one more dlc that will be crappy.



Unless it's dlc, expansion or something, announcing ME3 right now is not going to make me happy at all.

They have a DLC team and are working on ME3 anyway, so that wouldn't change much as ME3 is likely coming out late 2011 at the earliest.

They also mentioned they have big DLC plans and the released DLC so far is succesful.

Like the others said,it is early for ME3 announcement.Its possibly a DLC or PS3 ME2
