Although I can't wait for ME3 and know it will be amazing, we all expect it, so an announcement of that game although awesome, won't be great.



Maybe it is a Mass Effect multiplayer shooter? I am sure many people have said this. That would be cool to have in between ME2 and ME3.

Well in general if Mass Effect 3 ends up being FPS I won't be buying it.  I HIGHLY doubt they would just....switch it...after they've established it as one thing.  THat would be an idiot plan.

That's something that every dev at BioWare should take to heart. But I doubt Ms Norman would change it like that. At least not without a damn good reason.

That seems unlikely, based on all the different choices in ME/ME2 that apparently will effect ME3. That points towards something more RPG-based, less FPS-ish.

erm, why? For the Star Wars universe there's RPGs, FPSs, RTSs, Action Adventure games and even monopoly games

The Fallout New Vegas Victor face thing is either



1) A huge coincidence

2) An in-joke

3) A hint that Obsidian is going to be developing the game, which wouldn't be unheard of.

Oh god.. I'm going to burst with excitement!  Do we have to wait until December 11 until we know if this is ME related or not? I can't wait that long! I hope the news gets leaked somehow...

As long as it's an RPGesque; ie, I can make decisions and such and it isn't linear I'm happy with whatever. I mean there's tons other fps out there are we going to have another company follow in those footsteps?

As I said earlier, it's a trailer for the VGA's. The entire end of the trailer was probably stock footage compiled by someone else that just happens to include Victor's face. I doubt BioWare put it in there on purpose for any reason.

Sort of, though by coincidence I assumed you meant that it was accidental and just happens to look like Victor while not actually being Victor.

*Though I wouldn't say it's a coincidence if someone put his image there on purpose (which is probably true). It just wasn't BioWare's doing.

Bioware was looking for multiplayer developers a while ago. I bet we will see online in this game.

I think they will do an Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.

This was two months ago. Even if BioWare started this projekt a while ago I don't really think that they would put out a teaser of something that's not even half way through development. I clould be wrong though. But with Mass Effect 3 in development, Mass Effect 2 on it's way to the PlayStation 3, Star Wars The Old Republic and Dragon Age 2 just months away... it would be crazy to announce a new project. I think it's Mass Effect 3 or a Mass Effect prequel.
