It can't be first contact war since firstly there was only one ground battle in that confrontation and secondly the Incisor is a new gun released during the timeframe of ME2.

The incisor is introduced and used at or after ME2. This man is obviously using the incisor rifle. So by the transitive property... this photo of a dude is at or after ME2.

I'm surprised no one mentioned that cylinder shaped object that guy is holding at the end of the teaser said it was a cigar and the Illusive Man was holding it. He always had a cigar in his hand in Mass Effect 2. This teaser could star a young Illusive man like people suspect

The face of the shooter looks a Hell of a lot like Michael Madsen, who would make an excellent voice actor. I mean, Miranda looked just like Yvonne Strahovski.

They are going to release M---ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL.

Judging from the screenshots, I think the game takes place in a post-apocalyptic Earth based setting.



Bioware doing a post-apocalyptic RPG maybe? I hope so.

Ok after looking at the teaser, this definitely looks nothing like it's ME related. Besides, they announce it as from the creators of Mass Effect and Dragon Age. It's obviously a new IP. Probably an FPS. Definitely not ME3 though.

There is a lot of evidence to say it is something to do with ME. The gun is the EXACT same model as the Incisor down to small details.

It's hard to make out the details but that looks like the ruins of a city out the window, also IGN pointed out that the weapon looks very much like the incisor sniper rifle in Mass Effect 2.



Maybe this IS Mass Effect 3 and this scene is during a reaper invasion of Earth or one of Humanity's colonies?

Not young I mean.

I do know that could be an older Illusive Man but the game could be about his younger days in flashback form and tie in the mass effect evolution comic.

No it isn't. I noticed differences in length of the barrel and it wasn't extended properly. It is similar, but not even close to identical.

It could be a mark II model or if the game is a prequel like some have speculated, an earlier variant.

Everyone arguing over the rifle let me break it down:



1. Possible prototype, not the same model

2. The gun doesn't have to be exactly the same. Guns dont come glued together, you can swap out barrels,stocks etc

3.It is a totally different game and BW is just using the same model (highly unlikely)
