I expect a big ME2 DLC (Virmire Survivor is likely, or maybe an expansion pack in its own right with VR coming later in a smaller expansion) or a 5 second ME3 teaser that will plunge the forums into utter insanity.



I don't see them doing a new title. Do they even have that many employees?

I'm hoping for the Virmire survivor dlc. Jade Empire 2 would be stellar but I'm sure they already have to much in the works.

This is a good point though... They've got two main teams...  DAO and ME2.  Do thay have enough dudes and dudettes to make a third game?

Even though I'm looking forward to ME3, I just can't get excited about it being officially revealed (unless it includes a release date that is). Everyone already knows that it's being made seeing as it was a trilogy right from the start. And if it's like DA2, we won't get to see much for months anyway.

Probably much longer than that.  Doesnt make much sense for Bioware/EA's marketing to promote ME3 when DA2 isnt even released yet.  We will probably have to wait 3 months or so after DA2's release before we get any serious info.

I definitely think its ME3 though.  I highly doubt that their big announcement is DLC or that theyd even announce DLC at the VGAs

Well, it's doubtful the announcement will be "We're working on ME3". More than likely, we'd get a teaser trailer and some information.

We knew it was planned even before ME1 came out (2007), but ME2 wasn't announced till sometime before e3 2009

Given that this topic, *possibly*, has nothing to do with Dragon Age 2 it's likely going to get locked; however, before it does, I'll throw in my two cents. What the hell. Given the massive weight of awesome projects they have on thier plates (i.e. DA2, ME3, TOR) I highly doubt it's a new IP or even a new game.

My best guess, which seems to be the most common, is that it will likely be either ME2 DLC which will give players the same kind of relationship resolution Liara fans got with LotSB though this time having it centered around Ashley and Kaidan given that they are both Alliance, and as such could be on the same mission, just in different continuities depending on if your Shep is Male/Female and whether or not you romanced either of them.

The other common choice is the announcement of Mass Effect 3, likely in the form of a Pants Wetting Teaser Trailer, much akin to the ME2 Teaser we got years back. If it's either the former, or the later, or both, I for one will be keeping my eyes peeled. With BioWare, I'm always prepared to be knocked on my Butt in the best way possible, so I might try sitting for this one just to be merciful on my backside.
