Sorry, but seriously, may be the final decision is the obvious one.

To choose between saving the best interests for the entire galaxy or just the human interests, that afect the other species.

Import completed character
or
New character

Man, if that is the final decision you are allowed to make in the game, then it sounds like Mass Effect 3 will be a completly different genre than the first two.

maybe something like kill the reapers but in turn shep will have to die, or try to find a way to kill in to fail and they kill everyone

hell every one is assuming that Shep survived ME2 but what if everyone dies in me2?

since BW had said there will be no new characters, will every one be magically alive again or will it be up to Joker / Liara and the remaining crew members and Ashley/ kaidan and Wrex

maybe that is the BIG decision of ME3

to make shure that Most of the ME2 team survives

Please do.  Because I seriously doubt your claims.  Not only does it bode ill for both people who gots their squad shot up AND new players, but I REALLY want a batarian squadmate.  And a female turian.

It was said concerning ME2, after the Kasumi DLC came out.

All squadmates back folks just jumped on it like they jumped on Christina Norman's "same team". They are just fooling themsleves.

Batarian, female Turian -- yes, please!

Vaguely, I'd say theres a "all aliens get along" option, and a "humans take over" option.

That also seems likely.

Again? We already had this option in ME1 with the Council.

but then the final decision will be to just push the reapers back into darkspace and find a way to keep them there

or just wipe them out

but... it might not be that easy, maybe the reapers are build or in some way connected to the alliance?

remember the first image on Kasumi's greybox was a reaper ,and the data could harm the alliance not cerberus or anyone else....

this makes me wonder.

maybe the reapers are not 50 million years old but some AI experiment by the alliance gone wrong

and this will be the BIG mission in ME3 to find out the truth about the reapers

or i'm just way off

What? An experiment gone wrong leading to a fleet of AI controlled ships dozens of times stronger than your average cruiser? Not even Cerberus could make an experiment go that wrong!

well.... look at what Cerberus tried with Overlord what allmost went wrong
but maybe it wont be an experiment but i believe there is some Reaper - Alliance connection
maybe it is something like with the Rachni on Noveria and the Alliance was thinking they could control it / use it in coming battles and it backfired like Cerberus tried with the Rachni

If Shepard dies in ME2 and you do not create an entirely new Shepard, you cannot play ME3. That is a fact. To make this clear:

The playable character in Mass Effect 3 will be Commander Shepard. Whether it's the same one you used in previous games or not, that is who it is. If you start a brand new character, their history will reflect the default Bioware-chosen actions (such as Wrex having been killed on Virmire, the COuncil having been sacrificed, etc.).

so if i understand you correctly iy doesn't matter if Shep lives or dies at the end of ME2???
than why have the option of having Shep die if he/she "survives" anyway ?
i can understand to have the option of creating a new Shep if you haven't played the previous games
but it should be a different character if Shep has died
otherwise it is like saying it never happened and they might just as well bring back other characters to life
like Wrex or Ash/ Kaidan if you killed him on Virmire
i sure hope that you are wrong but i suppose that you're correct since thy have to come up with a different  backstory and all

ME3 can't happen without Shepard. We know that ME3 will happen. Therefore, Shepard isn't supposed to die at the end of ME2.

Either wiping out the reapers or enslaving them. (serious answer: Saving the planets of the councilraces or letting them be destroyed)

good, i can accept  Shep not really dying at the end of ME2
if anyone else stay dead since i have a few playtroughs with some dead characters since i did'nt like them or just to see what will happen in ME3 without them

i hope there will be a Failed mission option in ME3

i mean other then dying like sort of like being indoctrinated and help the reapers kill or enslave everyone
