So its on steam and GOG and some other. THey are crazy with all the good stuff and no DRM on GOG :)
What do you think?

With DRM never working against its intended target, it´s about time someone who knows that can make the decision whether a game will have it or not.

Just hope the same goes for the DVD version too. I think TW2 is distributed by NAMCO, and at least someone there was a fan of the Ubisoft DRM (which I wonder is against piracy or to move as many players as possible to consoles) <_<. Hopefully CDP has the final word.

Time to learn how to say "What the f*ck!?" in Polish.

Closest  would be "Co jest, kurwa?!" I think, but there are many, many, MANY variants ;P

Edit: just looked closer at the art book...damn that thing is huge.

Indeed, that is the only thing I crave sor from the CE, but wont buy it either way. Maybe the book will be available later on auctions...

I would say "co do cholery" but I don't need cause I already buy CE :D... for 230 zł :)

Hmmm... Have to think about this.

The Witcher was interesting, "Hey! You saved my life, you wanna.....?" Dang!?!

It might be worth the investment. LOL

That's the Premium edition. There is no, as of this moment, "normal" edition.

There will likely be a normal, assuming the official website isn't wrong, but the premium exists as a limited item - Think along the lines of DA2's signature edition.

Premium/normal is 50E. I don´t think there´ll be another edition cheaper than that.

Never said it would be, but Premium is "extremely limited" according to a number of sites, hence my reference to it being like DA2's signature edition - No more expensive but you get more stuff.

I'll have to try the first game again, I didn't like it but maybe playing again fresh after staying away will change my perspective (it worked with Jade Empire, can't believe I didn't get into that game when I first got it).

I'm in the same boat. I just couldn't get into the Witcher before, just really didn't like the combat I guess. Giving it another shot soon though.

Dont get me wrong, TW1 is one my all time games and im utterly looking forward to TW2.

[off-topic]But if DA2 & TW2 must be compared just keep in mind the TW games are also "click and something awesome happens". You remember how combat is with the witcher yes? You chain attacks with alot of clicking, now to me that dosnt sound that fare off to what their trying to do with DA2.

Question is can they pull it off with DA2. Im thinking, maybe. There is a fanbase for everything.

And back on topic. Now that is one hell of a CE package!. =D

I was more reffering to the dialogue system of the game...I don't want to know when I am doing the "right" thing... and as for the combat...it is yet to be seen how will they handle that...but overall it is a step away from DA:O there is no denying and Bioware has been known in the past for their RPG elements of the game not action ones...and also if you saw that battle on the dead fields in TW2...

I was on the CDProjekt forums. There don't want DRM because they know it doesabsolutely nothing to prevent the people from pirating. SC2? Pirated even with that battle.net always online crap. Great move on their part.

I really hope it doesn't come back to hurt them. But they're right when they say drm doesn't work anyway.

I pre-ordered The Witcher 2 as soon as it was possible to pre-order. The devs are probably the last independent (no EA or Activision, no casual console crappy games) studio that makes GREAT games. They deserve every penny. No DRM is a good decision. Every game is cracked in the end, most of them within day(s), so instead of wasting money on pointless protection, that hassels only the legit buyers anyway, they did what anyone with half a brain would do. Remove the protection. Good for them.

Blizzard's anti-piracy efforts with Battle.net didn't stop 2.6 million illegal downloads of Starcraft II. I think it only encourages piracy.

And Assassins Creed 2, which has totally crazy DRM, was cracked anyways.
Money wasted on pointless protection. Pirates get no DRM problems, as usually.
Legit buyers get screwed when their connection is down. Seriously. UbiSoft is just rididculous. Every game gets pirated, regardless of protection.
Most of the x360 releases are leaked weeks before official release, and some people still say piracy is killing PC gaming. Maybe if devs would go back to making GOOD games, sales would increase too.
What kind of customer is going to spend 60 bucks for mediocre corridor FPS game with 5h SP campaign (like CoD: BO or MoH 2010)?
