We give players the option to play as male or female, so it shouldn't be surprising that some players will choose to play male characters and some will choose to play female characters. It's not unusual or unexpected.

Cross-race and cross-class gaming has been around forever. i mean, no one here is an elf or dwarf or mage or ranger, so how come people don't play human commoners in all RPGs? silly.
