was NATHAN FILLION? Jeez, Bioware, you don't hire Nathan Fillion and only have him in the game for half an hour. You capitalize on the fact that you've accquired the most awesome man in the universe and have him be a love interest, a companion, whatever. You make use of this God given gift that is Fillion.

You might be shocked to find out there are people who don't have a clue as to who he is, myself included.
Anyway, for the sake of curiosity and for your benefit, here's what wikipedia says about him:

Nathan Christopher Fillion  is a Canadian actor, currently starring as Richard Castle on the ABC series Castle. He is also known for his portrayal of the lead role of Captain Malcolm Reynolds in the television series Firefly and its film continuation Serenity, and to a lesser extent for his regular role as Johnny Donnelly on the sitcomTwo Guys and a Girl.
Fillion has been involved in TV
soap operas, the theatre, traditionally distributed films like Slither and Trucker, Internet-distributed films like Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, and voice-over work such as in the video games Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach. He has also been recognized for his looks in People and Entertainment Weekly.

Sounds more like a B-movie TV actor to me, certainly not somebody I would refer to as 'god given gift' and 'most awesome man in the universe'.
In fact, I'd be much more thrilled about the involvment - short as it was - of John Cleese in this project.

I'd have been very very happy, might have even turned to the closed fist path. One of the reasons I started watching Castle is well it's HIM.

Nathan Fillion voicing Gao the Lesser was 99.9% of the reason I liked that character despite his weak characterization and the fact he was an utter tool in a literal and derogatory sense. Between him and John Cleese voicing Sir Roderick Ponce von Fontlebottom the Magnificent Bastard, there was barely enough game to contain the awesome.

I would have cast him as Sky. If I had to associate Sky with another character because of his voice, I would rather it be Richard Castle than Liquid Snake.

As much as I like Nathan Fillion, I disagree on that one. I liked Sky's dashing, care free personality. Nathan Fillion's voice just feels wrong for the role. It is a bit too rough. It just feels ever so slightly too harsh.

Granted, I could not hear Sky without thinking of Student Si Pat or further to the point, Leonardo from the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon, but I still feel Fillion would have been wrong for the role.
