So, I'm very happy to see ME2 everywhere, it deserves every praise it has received so far. I can't tell how much I loved this game. It can win everything.

Black Ops does not deserve to be all over that. It really does not. And ME2 should've been best RPG I say! And Reach should've been higher than COD,
But ranting aside, this is quite awesome.

BioWare deserves each and every one of those.

Wow that's a lot of categories. So when does the award show go on air?

LotSB is definitely the best DLC. Although Undead Nightmare will probably win. Also, go Jennifer Hale!

Fable III better not beat out ME2 in anything. And Jennifer Hale better win.

Good stuff! hope they win a bunch... I wish Michael Beattie was up for Mordin Solus though - I thought he was the best.

Okay, great for ME2 and Jennifer Hale! but the discussion should go in the Off Topic Forum because it covers quite a few games beyond ME2 and I foresee much discussion outside of the confines of the Mass Effect universe. I guess I'll just move this thread over.

I'm glad to see ModNation Racers in the list for the best of the PS3 games!

Sheen sucked in ME2, and BioShock 2 hasn't got a chance in Hell of winning best shooter. It was, at least for the PC, an absolutely abysmal port with very little support, and it's just... Not as good as it should have been. And BioWare? Studio of the year? Haha! A year of little communication, a ballsed up community event, Awakening's abysmal release quality, buggy/poor quality DLC? Not a chance.
But, as always, I wouldn't vote for much in that list. Jen Hale as Shep, yes. ME2 for best PC? Maybe, but I've not played the others. It's biased towards the bigger studios.

Sheen was amazing in ME2 - he is in everything.

Sheen was miscast as The Illusive Man. He sounds too old and his constant mispronunciation of humanity (I swear he says Youmanity) does my tree in.

I don't see how people can say that Martin Sheen's voice is out of place for The Illusive Man. The Illusive man looks just like Martin Sheen except maybe 10-15 years younger and Martin Sheen didn't sound different back then.
Pertaining to the original topic. I cannot BELIEVE Final Fantasy XIII made the list for best RPG. Why not Divinity II? Hell, even Gothic 4 is better than that crap.
Anyways..
Game of the year:
Mass Effect 2
runner up-Halo Reach

Fable III was a great game, but nowhere near better than Mass Effect 2. Fable III's abrupt ending basically slapped the whole experience in my face and was obviously rushed. As always, it was another Fable game that had so much more potential than it delivered.

I can't tell you how happy I am that Starcraft II did NOT get nominated for game of the year. I'd like to say that Blizzard fanboys are weeping as we speak but they're probably too pre-occupied with obtaining their next armor set and laughing at recycled Leeroy Jenkins internet meme jokes to notice.

Normaly don't care for this "game awards" but i'm semi intrested to see if the people/games that win a award get cause of how good they was, and not cause of the name i'e Martin Sheen/Judi Dench and Call of Duty.
Jennifer Hale would love to win, not because of her work on Mass Effect 2, tho the game put me off ever thinking about the 3rd game, but cause of her work over the years on god knows how many games and shows.

Game of the year is a tough choice:
Either Black Ops, Halo Reach, or Read Dead Redemption. I'm going to lean towards RDR simply because its more original than Ops and Reach.
