After i reached enough str to wear this armor on my main, i find it hard to
get a better armor. I have collected full juggernaunt, full dragonbone and
they all lack better stats then the Blood armor, why is this?.

The dragonarmor might be good, but it looks like crap, a cheap tincan,
compared to the juggernautarmor.  Are we 'collectors edition users' stuck
with this one armor on our chars, or are there actual upgrades?.

I think the Blood Dragon armor looks awesome. Hence you can see me wearing it in my avatar.

I do agree that it is hard to find better armor than it though, perhaps you could craft different armor if you like.

The Dragon Armor has nothing to do with the collector's edition. It comes with every new (not pre-owned) copy of the game, collectors edition or not. The only thing the Collector's Edition has that the regular edition does not are an extra CD with the soundtrack and wallpapers and possibly a making-of movie, a cloth map, a tin box, and three not-that-good-or-unique items.

Also: Agree that the Blood Dragon armor looks horrible. The model is absolutely terrible on anyone but a Dwarf - it makes everyone look excessively fat, and the belt buckle type thing is bigger than the size of a man's head.

Personally, I don't use it just because of that - the armor is way too ugly to stand. The texture's nice and all, but they should have stuck it on a nicer model, like the standard plate armor model or something.

Also: You can't craft armor in this game. There's also aren't very many pieces of armor that are better than the Blood Dragon armor - I can't think of any off the top of my head. Personally, I used the Warden's Keep Commander armor for my main character after buffing it up to Dragonbone instead of the crappy Steel version I originally got.

Is that even possible? I thought all anyone could craft was potions?

Buffed up your armor to dragonbone level? what? How do you upgrade your armor like that?

You can find armor made of Dragonbone. It's the best quality.

There are better suits of armor than the Blood Dragon Armor. Dragonbone massive plate has more armor value (by quite a bit). It just doesn't have the stats.

What, I thought my juggernaut armor was better than blood dragon armor. I thought they had the same base stats but juggernaut had better bonuses on it.

The Dragonbone Plate armor you get wade to make for you is comparable to the Blood armor, and there are definetly better gloves and boots in the game. I Agree the armor looks terrible.  Like a bad community made armor project (seriously, why the hell would we want a red glowing visor? are we cylons?)

You yourself can't but a good smith can out of iron bark, drake scales, adn dragon scales though the two later I haven't done yet...

I though juggernaught was better though overall, currently see Dragon armor as third best set myself.

Your welcome to just not use it, or put it on a party member if you so desire.

A script I wrote in the Toolset. Altered all gear's materials to be the same as the main hand weapon's.

In other words, I cheated, since I really liked how the Warden Commander armor looked but wanted roughly the same stats as better armor had.

Dragon Blood armor looks awesome. But Legion of the Dead armor is what I go for - the best armor for me.

Goes great for my female mage.

Sadly the game has not updated my avatar yet..

Arcane Warrior was a nice specialization.

The Blood armor is actually not that good for tanks. I switched to Dragon Bone Massive Plate pretty early on.

I also find the Warden's Commander Armor more to my taste as well.

I hated the Blood Dragon Armor, since it doesn't look to belong in an age of sorcery and swords, but rather lightsabers and the force.

Now, a good looking armor, The Warden Commander armor is fantastic, and some other look fine.
