I doubt there wouldn´t be any SP campaing, even short one. If my guess is correct we´re looking on something CoD or MoH style with short campaign (First Contact War - that was in fact only two quick and decisive battles and maybe even battle for Shanxi) and than focus will be on MP. Just like in CoD.

The pictures with the strange writing on it's been bugging me ever since they posted it, I know I saw it somewhere but just didn't remember where. And now I think I found it, It's the same strange writing that's displayed on the chest pouch of Agent Thorton's medical clothing in the beginning of the game Alpha Protocol.



See the resemblance, my guess is; that BioWare just bought the rights to Alpha Protocol and are making their own version or sequel to Alpha Protocol.

A ME2 expasion w/ this guy hunting Shep.  I'd buy that in a heart beat.  I don't for one second believe it, but I would still buy it if it was.

maybe this is a social experiment to see how easy it is for conspiracy theorys to spiral out of control when givin completely random clues. what a success if that was the case. lmao.



theres enough coincidences in that trailer to assume a dozen different games are in development right now. the best solution is probably the simplest one. ME3. every other theory is little more then wishful thinking.



just look at the facts. ME3 is coming in about a year (plus a few months). about the typical time for bioware to announce a new game. maybe slightly early, but that leads me to point 2: VGA's are notorious for showing teaser trailers for games no where near completion. *cough* arkham asylum 2 *cough* exhibit C: just because Shepard is not in the trailer doesnt mean its not ME3. Remember ME2's first teaser, it just showed Legion. This could easily be a new character in ME3 starring in his own wonderful teaser just like Legion did. everyone already sees the sniper rifle, so no need to delve into that point. nd idk about you, but i think bioware have enough on their plate right now to not need to announce a new IP.



look all im sayin is... if this were a murder trial, the evidence is pointing to ME3 the most, not alpha protocol or shattered steel or whatever the hell else you guys are tossing around as suspects. All wonderful ideas, but they hold little chance against the most obvious contender. There may not be enough evidence here to convict anyone, but ME3 deffenitly looks the most guilty.



so... im gonna assume that conclusion. you guys go ahead and keep making crazy theorys though cause its actually pretty entertaining.

Occums razor.

It's ME3, or ME2 DLC, plus an FPS that was rumored for a while.

It's a bunch of recycled Mass Effect models and concepts, it's almost certainly Mass Effect 2 or 3 related.  

If they were to release a new game in the ME universe, they would probably make it after ME3.  That way, people will have finished the ME series, and want more ME at all costs.  That's just the intelligent way to do it.  Plus they'll have all the money from ME 3 with no WIP games.

Casey Hudson has said that "Overlord" and "Kasumi" were very well recieved and that they were still going to release DLC for ME2 BEFORE ME3 comes out. He also said that the number of new DLCs for ME2 would be slowing down. So, I believe this to be another bridge story (like Liara's) between ME2 and ME3. Maybe the multi-player component that people have been talking about. Thusly, that is a custom Shep in the picture that has been wounded and is camping.

Let's look at it this way;

Obsidian/SEGA made Alpha Protocol, it's failed mainly because of the low graphics for that time, lots and lots of bugs and the amusing way you sneaked around. Don't you think Obsidian or SEGA would be thrilled to sell the rights of a mediocre game for any amount of money?

Second the best thing about Alpha Protocol was decision making, EVERYTHING you did had repercussions. you have multipull dialogue options, a nice story and so forth. What is BioWare known for? Yes, decision making, epic dialogues and unmatched storytelling.

And yes, the sniper rifle in the picture and teaser looks remarkably the same as the incisor sniper from Mass Effect2, but doesn't Mass Effect 2 have a DLC from another game too? oh yeah, that's right, the blood dragon armor, if you had Dragon Age you got the blood dragon armor for Mass Effect 2. This could mean if you own Mass Effect 2 and buy their new product you'll get the Incisor sniper rifle from Mass Effect 2 for your new game.

Think about it.

Or decided they´ve have enough ME for the rest of their lives. I´m not that optimistic about ME3.
At least I hope that if this is a FPS with MP, then ME3 won´t.
