Seriously though, my best guess is... that we should all just wait for the official announcement for whatever this may happen to be.

Most of this speculation seems far too unlikely to me.

What is the Mass Effect universe's zombie-like enemy? The Husk. Where do you fight a lot of Husks? Aequitas. Am I on to something? Probably not, but it's not the craziest theory here.

person in the trailer is probably a new companion, or maybe its just a completely random soldier who plays a minor role in a grander trailer. whatever the case, im positive its ME3.

one problem however, Shattered Steel was a mech piloting game, this is supposedly a shooter of some time, and that is definitely a ME universe sniper rifle.

yep thats the best way to go not like they will let us know if someone guesses right any way. besides getting too involved just increases the chance of dissapointment

If it is Mass Effect related, it might be interesting if its a prequel game. I imagine ME3 still needs time to develop. I'd be in on a game involving the first contact war. Besides, I could see Bioware expanding on the Mass Effect universe. It is a money earner.
