I seriously hope that this is either leading to a Mass Effect spin-off or an entirely new game. If this has to do with ME3 i'll be pretty disappointed because as we already know that about 90+% of the fanbase know about ME3 and its been no secret.

Since the picture doesn't appear to be Shepard, perhaps it is a post-game expansion? Perhaps that is the default male that replaces Shepard. I read a few days ago a post about "Mass Effect on Earth" and I could not find it again, but this has been discussed quite a bit on this thread. Perhaps for some reason Shepard or their replacement has sojourned to Earth, and that is where my hypothetical expansion takes place.

That's likely Dead State which is being made by Doublebear Productions.

It's run by one of the old Black Isle Studios' writers, Brian Mitsoda. He was renowned for his work on Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.

Hello, creo que seria maravillosa una espancion para mass effect 2, que vas a poner nuevos planetas,nuevo veiculos, armas y la posibilidad de mas tiendas y sitios para visitar, es que hasta haora la bioware ha publigado solo dlc quasi grandes como una mini espancion pero porque no hacer una espancion de verdad que expande la galaxia de mass effect !!

Hey just a thought (coming from a super Mass Effect Junkie who reads into every damned Mass Effect theory that could relate to real life stuff) but look hard at the picture of the guy with the rifle...Could it be Shepard as a youth fighting in the Blitz or something? I mean in theory every good franchise has that one expansion or one solid stand alone game (Halo relating to ODST or the Zelda series) that was a PREQUEL! I mean look! The gun, the armor, it's all not-so-fancy and not-so-advanced!



I'm putting money on that this IS an expansion/prequel where Shepard dreams of his past during the Blitz etc. If you were a War Hero maybe you could be saving your whole squad in the game, or a Sole Survivor could just be the last one to live / stay alive etc.



Then again, Bioware is kinda screwing us with the PS3 thing..Maybe they've lost all heart and screwed Mass Effect with a damned ugly and pointless "Shootem up" Multiplayer....A cooperative only multiplayer would be welcome....you know - where they FORCED you to cooperate and actually HAD A GOAL?...None of that COD mindless shooter ****.

All evidence would point to a Mass Effect related announcement on December 11th, whether it be Mass Effect 3 or a spin-off game.

The gun used in the trailer looks almost identical to the M-29 Incisor from Mass Effect 2.
The armor he's wearing in the teaser has similarities to armor seem in Mass Effect such as the meshing on Cerberus Armor
In the teaser if paused at 00:12 shows the man looking on to the tower bridge in London, England.
In the Mass Effect universe on Earth there are Three known human governments one of which is The European Union.
The third QR code Bioware released translated to a link to which led to the British Secret Intelligence Service.
PlayStation Russia tweeted something that roughly translates into this in English, “a teaser, in which we can see the first footage # Mass Effect 3”, which also seemingly confirms ( if true) Mass Effect 3 for PS3.
The other QR codes Bioware have posted translate into the atomic mass of iron (55.847) and the coldest temperature recorded on Earth ( -128.6 F/ -89.2 C). The Coldest Temperature was recorded at Vostok Station which is also the name of a system in the Mass Effect universe.
Iridium, Palladium, and Platinum minerals which we know from Mass Effect 2's mining mini game are known to bind to iron and are usually found in planet cores.
Also the Vostok system has a metal-rich asteroid.
However these are just few of the many ways to perceive the QR codes.


Occam's razor says that the most obvious answer is most likely the correct one and heres hoping that holds true with the announcement being Mass Effect 3 !

Hello, I think it would be wonderful expansion for mass effect 2, you're going to put new planets, new vehicles, weapons and the possibility of more shops and places to visit, bioware has publish only dlc as a mini expansion but why not make a real expansion- expanding the galaxy of mass effect!

And important thing is tis video is not only for the new Bioware game but for new games wich will be announced there. From 2 pictures is little bit seems like one of them will be Left4Dead3

Nice Yep this also seems like they are going to announce Left4Dead3. Btw I know it is not specifically for the new BW game. If you read all I wrote it on the bottom

I personally think the QR code is related to BioWare's game, the zombie clue something else, and the yellow stuff obviously the New Vegas DLC or something like that.
