As BioWare didn't tweet the hint, I'm guessing it isn't actually related to a BioWare game?

The part in the new trailer with the guy who gets thrown away by an explosion, is that from Mass Effect? Sure looks like it.

It may turn out to be a complete waste of space.

I have a crazy idea... what if the man in the teaser is Kai Leng from the Retribution novel?

I was going over Kasumi's mission a little while ago and a thought occured to me; perhaps the Statue of Liberty being torn up and in that vault/collection is indicative of Earth having a "not so bright future" and could explain why the environment seems war-torn/post-apocalyptic around our mystery man. Afterall, didn't a dev state that Kasumi's dlc was a hint to what earth was like?

Me neither!  I'm seriously thinking about buying a few dozen four lokos so I can drink myself to an unconcious state and then drink more whenever I regain conciousness.

Um, what? I thought that the caffeine in the four lokos stops you from passing out, so you drink until you die instead of passing out.

Well I tried changing the contrast of the image (and the whole page) to uncover any hidden messages, but there were none. None in the barcode, either. Nothing in the source of the page. I even tried changing the filetype to .gif to see if it was being used as the wrong filetype in case there was another frame of animation or something. Nope.  Also, no hidden text in the image file itself. *shrugs*

I can't even begin to describe how much I'm looking forward to ME3. But as much as I want this to be ME3 related i don't think it is. It's more likely to be about the new multiplayer shooter that takes place in the ME universe.

Let's face it isn't going to be Mass Effect 3. I really hope I'm wrong, but it wont be. Bioware needs more material than what it already has. They need to start branching out, in order to stay competitive and have an edge on other leading game designers. I am not sure what this game will be, but if it is Alpha Protocol 2, chances are it is not going to sell as good as the other two games now currently popular within Bioware. The first one was poorly received and will still have that same attitude among consumers and critics. I am sure Bioware would make an amazing AP2, but I just can't see how they would.

I'm excited to see what this is. WHATEVER this is. Rumor mill has somehow managed to amalgamate a few different rumors into one super rumor I think.

I don't think it's ME3...they don't NEED to do a viral marketing campaign for ME3...almost everybody has heard of Mass Effect and is just waiting for the announcement.

A new IP or spin off on the other hand would definitely warrant the viral campaign.

personally I don't think that it is me3 as well lets face it as much as i'd love to believe Casey Hudson when he says t'lll be released in the same time frame as ME2 i really dont think that'll happen as they are going to want to make this game 100% perfect before release, my guess is its a mass effect universe based game, maybe just liek me2 with multiplayer or it may be a whole new style like a sci fi fps or something, personally i would rather it be an me2 style cover based shooter but hell wouldnt mind an fps.

Ey guys, If I'm not mistaken, that's the M-29 Incisor Sniper Rifle he's holding, or some variant. The Resemblance is uncanny.

If BioWare's aim was to confuse gamers and keep them on the edge of their seat with this week's teaser image and trailer for their new project, they've certainly achieved that.

On Wednesday, the Canadian developer released an image and a short trailer of their upcoming project, which is set for a VGA reveal. A few impromptu clues later and a Shattered Steel reboot or a Mass Effect spin off were theories being thrown around. Sources even told Kotaku it would be Mass Effect online.

Over the weekend though, BioWare released another cryptic clue, leading code crackers to eventually trace it to the British Secret Intelligence Service website, and while that should have grabbed everyone's attention, it was the Russian leg of Sony that was stealing the limelight.

Over on Sony Russia's Twitter account, they posted, as translated and discovered by Ripten, "Company #BioWare Award for #VideoGameAwards showed a teaser, in which we can see the first footage #MassEffect 3." The tweet has since been removed.

It appears that either Sony Russia got their facts wrong or they let slip on one of the biggest talking points of the week.

This is by no means official confirmation of course, as we all know that this could be put down to a breakdown in communication between region specific offices, but it's as close to something coming from the horse's mouth that we've got so far.

Still, consider this a rumour, and watch this space... I'm sure this isn't the last we've heard of it before the December 11th VGAs.

At least this all but confirms Mass Effect 3 on the PS3, right? Let's hope so!

Rumors, rumors, and repeats of rumors. While I do hope we get something on Mass Effect 3 soon, no credible evidence has surfaced yet.

Ok guys. We all know here is lot of specualtions going on. You remebmer like we talked about next Alpha protocol ?
The man in the trailer looks like MIchael Thortnon from Alpha Protocol.
The codes fit with code wich Michael weard somehwre in Alpha Protocol.
And what codes means is maybe only some hint where it will be.
And the last code ? It means S.I.S which should everybode knows from James Bond movies. And who was James Bond? SPY ! What is Alpha Protocol ? SPY GAME !
And some time ago BW said they are going to do some SPY game. And like we said here the makers of Alpha protocol and BW have som deals together with KOTOR etc...
So I again think this will be next Alpha protocol :)

The riddle is, as someone aleadt stated:

MASS EFFECT ON EARTH, but IMHO there is more to this. Why would ME take place on Earth??? There is nothing interesting there from the whole plot point of view. Or is there......Which planet of the Solar System is Earth....

THE THIRD ONE.

So the riddle is MASS EFFECT 3. But why on Earth?? Because the Reapers are not going to just destroy the whole Galaxy.

They are going to start from Earth

the two numbers that Bioware have alluded to were: 55.845 and -128.5°F. The mass of iron and the coldest temperature on earth.

Mass of iron & coldest temperature on earth

Mass of FE (iron) & CT on earth

Mass FE CT on earth

Mass Effect on Earth!

Just a thought.

(Don't know if any of you saw this comment made by "Junthor", but it's pretty solid if you ask me.
