Again, sorry if this has already been posted, but I think it's interesting either way.

I've seen this theory, but when you take account of MI-6 and The Clash barcodes, it doesn't make sense.

Really any Mass Effect related thing doesn't make sense when you combine Iron, coldest temperature on Earth, MI-6, and The Clash.  I don't think anything makes sense when you combine those four things.

Hopefully on Dec 11th we'll be like "AH HA! That's what they mean!"  Which will be very extraordinary.

The best link we have for the iron and temperature thing is, in my opinion, a planet from Mass Effect 2: Aequitas.

Reason? Aequitas has a reported surface temperature of −89 °C, which is almost exactly -128.5°F (-128.2°F to be exact). Secondly, the official description for Aequitas mentions that it is famous for its "Iron Canyons".

Two QR codes on the same day referencing information on the same planet in the same game? Yeah, sounds like Mass Effect to me.

Trust me, I definately know about Aequitas; you combine Iron and -128.5 with the Incisor Rifle and the armor, yes you have a ME reference, even with Vostok, but the Clash and MI-6?  What does ME have to do with British counter-intelligence and classic punk rock? 

Really I think that the Fe and Coldest Temperature (The Mass of Fe CT) is pure coincidence.

All four clues have to lead the same direction.  Unless this guy is British, works for the SIS, hunting baddies on Aequitas/Antarctica, and The Clash is his favorite band, I can't see where this is going.

I would love to be proved wrong, though.

The MI-6/SIS reference, and the fact that Obsidian has worked on sequels to BioWare games in the past.  So rumors began to circulate that this may be Alpha Protocol-related.

ANYWHO ok 2 things about this video. near the end, they show the footage zoomed in a bit with higher resolution. we can finally put a very silly lie thats psread like fire. he is not looking out a widnow seeing a bridge crossing a lake and buildings beyond it. its just a court yard, hes maybe 2 or 3 floors up. sorry all you crazy people who couldnt seet hat before but its undebatable now.



second, and i have no idea what this could mean. but right after that zoomed in hsot, they flash the metal gear solid: peace rising logo. wtf?????????



damn i hate them so much for makign me actually want to watch their terrible show so i can see this trailer ASAP

If it's something that's going to "get us excited," then how could it be a new IP? He talks about it as if we'll see something familiar that will excite us.

It's the cg intro to the new DLC involving Cerberus (rogue splinter cell of the Alliance), and the Alliance. That scene is Corporal Toombs trying to escape Akuze after Cerberus unleashed Thresher Maws on the colony in 2177 (before Alliance Marines showed up...that comes next).  It all plays very nicely into one of the many reasons Admiral Hackett is in charge of a clandestine war with the rogue black ops group.

It's probably been pointed out, but just in case it hasn't (it's probably a long-shot anyway) Iron is represented by the symbol Fe, from the Latin Ferrum. Could this be a vague or cryptic clue relating to Feros? Just trying to think outside the box here. It's probably nothing.

Just a strange thought you guys, you know this new blackberry messenger on most blackberry phones they scan barcodes just like theese to add friends on the messenger. I wonder what would happen if you scan one of these barcodes with it. does it add Bioware as a friend or somthing? or send u more info about the game? Just a mad thought!

Err, yes, they're called QR codes. You scan them and get text information. We've been discussing them from the start .

The first contact war could barely be considered a war. It consisted of about 2 medium scale battles. I don't think enough has happened in the first contact war to make an MMO or an entire new game; multiplayer related or not.
